so birdies are going to be a private species open to select people, BUT i decided to make the artist competition open to everyone!
if you are an artist or guest artist, then you will of course be allowed in the community [even if you stop being an artist!]
so if you're not someone who was invited, this is probably the only chance to enter the species, since I'm not too comfortable making it a closed species to the general public!

rules for staff members btw:
-staff members can claim a free custom per month! [as well as the paid one]
-inactivity without checking with me may result in removal of your position. however, this ofc depends on circumstances
-do not make heterochromiac birdies - these are for special adopts! same w custom-lined
-designs should be based off of a bird to some degree [secondary themes are fine ofc!]
-eyes and tongue colour match!
-give them outfits, please
-complete any custom orders within a reasonable time
-competitions should be judged in a month from the closing date. please let me know if you cannot judge them

acceptable/standard edits: [theres no rarity system!]
-length of tail feathers and elbow feathers
-shape of tail feathers
-hair edits
-missing limbs/scars/etc. [please ask before including on a design]

not acceptable:
-p much any other edits! ask me if youre confused
