Well, there was this one time. I was hiking alone, thankfully. And I came across a shopping cart. Like just a shopping cart. No food, groceries, or anything it in. Just a lone shopping cart in the mild of no where. It was quite the wild experience. I luckily found out it was from the local market and returned it to them later that afternoon. But I would say that is one of the weirder things that I have come across. I'm just happy I didn't run into the wild cart when I was teaching my hiking lessons. The kids would have thought shopping carts were found in the wild and I would have a bunch of crying kits when I had to break the news to them that shopping carts don't roam the forests in packs. Oh boy, that would have been a day to remember.

Well, I have read a lot of good books recently. There is one though that will always stay in my heart. I read it when I was younger. It was called Almost Home. Boy did that give me the water works. Its about this girl and her dog and they are trying to find a home and just, wow im crying even thinking about it. Well, I would have to say this is my favorite book. Gosh, now I want top go a reread it and cry some more.

I am not proud of this at all, I hope you know that now. Anyways, Elli and I went to the mall. Elli and I both went to the restroom, well Elli did. I just wanted in the little waiting area for him. Well while I was waiting for him to return, I realized I needed to go as well. Well, I stood up and tried walking to the bathroom door, which I though was the men's. I put my paw out to read it and I got "MEN BATHROOM". SO I went it. Well as it seems I forgot the "WO" in front of the "MEN". I walked in and all I heard was high pitch screaming. And let me tell you. Being blind, your other senses are heightened, so my hearing is pretty good. Well, that was one time out of many where I regretted having such good hearing because boy did that hurt. I made a mad dash out of there and ran into Elli, laughing his ears off at me. I finally got to the right place but still, that was terrible.

fuiuki wrote:To Lillian: Have you ever accidentally baked something into a pie that wasn't supposed to go in there? How did it turn out?

When I was first starting to help Estelle with making pies on Sundays, I didn't always know what was suppose to go into the pies and what was decor. So Estelle and I were going around the forest and we were picking up berries, fruit, herbs, and many other things. Estelle told me to pick these pretty leaves. She told me they were basil. I, being a naive as I once was, decided to pick a lot of these beautiful leaves. Estelle and I went back to the house and started making the crust. While Estelle was putting the first few pies in the oven, I decided to surprise her with a pie that I would make all on my own. So I grabbed a pan and a crust and filled it with the basil leaves that she had told me to pick earlier. I popped it in the oven when she wasn't looking with the other pies. They cooked and then Estelle had me pull them all out because she was pruning the lilies outside. I took them all out to cool. I saw how beautiful my basil pie looked. I didn't try any before I took it to Estelle, but not before putting two little basil leaves that I had left over on top. Estelle smiled and me when I handed her the pie. She went inside and cut herself and me a slice. She took a bite and spat it out into the trash can. I can always remember the look on her face and the feeling of disappointment. She later explained, after cleaning the taste of basil from her tongue, that basil was an herb and was only to be used in small amounts. So yeah, I now know my herbs.

I haven't found anything that was alive that was out of the ordinary there, yet. But the most interesting thing I found at that creek was probably a heart shaped rock. See I went down the creek the second day I was working at the station. We weren't allowed to go off trail, but I have dropped my chapstick and I have a no littering policy so I went down the hill to retrieve it. I then saw the creek. I decided since I was already off the trail, that I would check it out. I glanced into the crystal clear water. The first thing that caught my eye was a heart-shaped rock. I was drawn to it. I picked it up out of the water. I held it in my hand and just felt how the cold rushed through my paws. I slipped the rock into my bag and carried on back to the trail. To this day I carry that rock around with me. Don't tell Ky though, she doesn't like when people remove nature from where it is found and I would hate to upset her.

whim wrote:@Ky do you have any pet peeves about Winona?
Well, I mean, yes, but please don't tell Winona. I love her so much and I'd rather not have a fight over this. But, yes, she does this one thing that kinda gets under my skin. The kits are usually in bed when she does this. But, she will get in her whole performing outfit, and I mean the whole thing, make up included. And then she will prance around in the guest room. When we first were seeing each other, the first time I saw she does this, I thought it was cute. But now, it's just annoying. Like she performs so much as it is, so she shouldn't need to bring it home. And besides, she made a rule between us that no one should ever find out what she does. And I have kept it that way, but when she does this, she is just walking on a fine line. What if company comes over and she looks like this? Or someone sees her through the window? I don't know, its small I know but like I just wonder sometimes is she thinking.
