𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭: jamie hewlett (known for a lot of art in gorillaz) drew cover art
waay before gorillaz was even a thing. he's got a really sick art style, man.
he did this really cool piece pictured to the right here, and his notes on it
inspired the title for one of their albums. the note went "frankenstein girls
will seem strangely sexy." jimmy is so insane he asked to use it.

𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭: and jhonen vasquez also created some cool album art for these
guys. who could have known so many artists from my childhood would colla
-borate with such a wild, rowdy bunch? it makes my heart swell with joy.

Danny has always been comfortable in his own skin and really can care less about what is cool or not at the current time. His plans in life is to live it and live it how ever makes him the happiest. To wearing speedos in the pool and Country music on the weekends it really dosen't bug him on what people have to say about what he is into. Even when trends fade Danny enjoys things like the little rubber bracelets that look like birds or rainbows when you don't wear them and the funky sunglasses that no one should ever wear.

As an on running joke Danny tends to throw the phrase "I liked it before it was cool" to either justify what he likes at the current time if someone tends pick on him, even if the trend died out or even if it was never a trend to start off with. Danny feels that people are always searching for the next best thing that is unique and different and though Danny knows that others may think him odd at times that what makes his different then everyone else and in that case liking himself is cool and he liked himself way before it was cool to do so.

Though Danny isn't the kind of guy to be totally wrapped up in himself or stops every time he walks by a mirror, he just tends to on occasion that is "Pep talk" ( more like flirt ) in the mirror and enjoys styling not only his stash but hair as well in some fun styles from time to time. He knows there is no one quite like him out there and so he tries his hardest to take care of himself and tends to be full of himself when the opportunity presents himself. Though you should never mistake him as being shallow or uncaring because of his cool and sometimes full headed ways.

Danny knows that not a whole lot of people like themselves and try to put on a mask in attempt to be hip or in trend, its hard to like your self when you can see all the little flaws in yourself. So Danny dose his best to not only like himself but help others like them selves as well. Though being a Therapist is kinda of an odd job that no one can see Danny doing, he dose it to help other grow, be carefree and enjoy life a little more. Because that is what life is about, living it and enjoying the small things. So Danny likes himself before it was cool and you should like yourself before it was cool as well. Because it doesn't matter whats cool or not as long as you care content with yourself and enjoying life in any possible way you can.

now, let's get one - actually, no, a few - things straight; john was never actually known as 'john'. he only ever responded to 'johnno' and it continues to stay that way. his real name was actually donovan up until a year ago, but we won't get into that.
and johnno? he loves mullets.

mullets...? you think, scratching your head in absolute and utter confusion.

unfortunately, yes, johnno is into mullets. at least, he was, until he noticed that it was becoming a big phenomenon within the so-called 'bogan' communities in australia.

now, the only reason johnno ever got into the mullet lifestyle was because it wasn't classed as a trend, much less something of fashion. he himself and an infamous 'skullet' for the longest time, much to everyone's refusal and dissapointment. he was living the life, mate.

"johnno?" a gruff voice called, jiggling the door handle of the apartment with fervour. no response.
nico sighed, dragging a paw down his face in absolute exasperation. normally he would have the keys to his shared appartment, but after such a rushed morning, the artist had forgotten his set of keys on the counter. it was his own mistake, yes, but normally dono- no, sorry, johnno- would help him out if he got stuck outside. it seemed that today was not one of those times, and johnno was busy sulking within the confines of their messy loungeroom (if you could even call such a small space that). what about, nico hadn't the slightest clue, but it wasn't like he could ask in this state.
so, he kept knocking forcefully on the door and jiggling the handle, hoping johnno would eventually open the door.

it was after around ten minutes that the rainbow-hued, skullet-sporting kalon opened tge door, revealing the dimly-lit lounge area and a cocoon of blankets on the worn lounge. nico raised an eyebrow, but stepped in anyway, making sure not to step on the cut-out of billy ray cyrus lying on the ground.
johnno moved to cocoon in front of the tv, which had a suspicious dent in the screen. though the glass was cracked and the upper part of the screen was decorated with bars of colour, nico spied the channel that was playing; it was the news, reporting on something about an australian festival of sorts.
cautiously, nico approached johnno, placing a paw on his shoulder. "bro... you okay, bro?"
johnno looked up to the heavens, a soft tear rolling down his white cheeks, sparkling in the light of the television. "yeah, nah mate. nah."

that was the last time nico saw his friend with a skullet. he is rather thankful to whatever higher mullet deity granted him this reprieve; that skullet was terrible. johnno, on the other hand, still mourns at his mullet shrine. you win some, you loose some.
