Eurydice knows nothing but being blind, so she learnd to "see" with her ears and be very careful if she's not sure about her surroundings from a young age. So in generalshe has little to no problems dealing with her blindness on her own, but she also has her mate Orpheus who would never leave her side. He can be a bit annoying sometimes as he is a bit overprotectiv and clingy, but she knows he just wants her to be safe. It took her some time to realise thought that he wasnt just acting like that because of her blindness, he knows she wouldnt realy need his help with that.

Willow is best friends with Naeco, above. Naeco, ironically is deaf. They can be seen in pasture together and are stalled side-by-side. Many of the ranch-hands think that Naeco is Willow's eyes and Willow is Naeco's ears. They are pastured out with 6 other horses: Smokey, Dox, Trixie, Cash, Tazya, Adolpho, but only spend time with each other.

Naeco is currently getting backed for riding and Willow throws fits each and every time Naeco is worked with. Thus, we have had to have training sessions that include them both. While we work with Naeco on bridling, saddling and leading, Willow can be found kicking a jolly ball around. Often times, hitting the workers! It is quite humorous to try to get anything done with the two. Grooming is a bit of a challenge as well. While grooming one, the other wants attention too. We have gotten around this by having two people groom them as separating them causes a total riot in the barn.

Amelia knew that taking on the 'task' of taking care of a blind horse would present new challenges that she hadn't faced before; however, she was willing to take that risk. After all, who else would take in a horse that was fully blind and would likely pass that blindness to her offspring? Lupine Hills was less of a breeding center and more of a sanctuary for horses needing love, however, breeding was still definitely on the table.

When the mare arrived, she was shy as sin and spooked easy, jerking away from almost all touch. Leading her with the halter was the only option, and it was a task that had to be handled delicately. At first, Amelia kept her in a stall by herself, helping guide her to the food and making sure that she wasn't sure. However, horses were meant to be social animals, and Amelia felt wrong for keeping this very pretty mare all by herself.

She introduced her to another mare, Wendy, who had recently weaned her foal and was in the pasture. The two seemed to click instantly, and Angel's demeanor changed. Amy let the two roam in their own separate pasture, and Angel would consistently stick by Wendy's side at all times. Wendy, in turn, kept an eye out for her, and guided her whenever she would wander in the direction of the fence.

Eventually the pair were released to pasture, and Angel was a much more carefree horse from that point onwards. As long as she had her friend by her side, she was happy.
