A Snarl in the Dark....
Canis Concolor, otherwise known as Zvers, are an alien species that were discovered aboard a crashed space ship. Initially believed to be too vicious to tame, humans have formed bonds with these strange beasts, despite warnings from government agents who want them rounded up and exterminated. Despite several attempts, the government has failed to capture the beasts and Zvers have become an established species on Earth. Many Zvers have now become cherished partners and have shown themselves to be extremely intelligent and capable of human speech via telepathy. What will your role in their lives be?

7. In the event that you no longer want your Zver, you MUST return him/her here. You may not sell, trade, or co-own Zver
8. Zvers may be gifted only after owning them for 3 months and gaining permission from myself.
9. If I find users abusing the gifting system, I reserve the right to revoke this privilege.
10. I reserve the right to repossess Zvers from their owners in the event that they are banned from the species.
11. I often put 'biological sex' on the application forms. This is only for breeding purposes, Zvers can be any gender or sexuality as they are intelligent creatures with complex emotions and feelings
11. We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying here. If I learn that you are bullying anyone or any group of people for any reason(especially regarding sexuality, gender, religious beliefs, etc) in relation to Zvers, you will be immediately banned from the species and your Zvers revoked(as per rule 10). There is no strike system for this type of thing. Zvers are to be a safe and friendly environment for all users and I will not put up with rudeness here.

• Species name: Zver (Plural: Zvers)
• Average weight: 60-100 lbs
• Average height: 2-2.5 ft(at the shoulder)
• Average length: 5-9 ft(nose tip to tail tip)
• Long slender ears that always lie back on the head. They have very sharp hearing
• Canine-like head similar to a coyote
• Feline-like body similar to a cougar
• Long, thick tail. Used for balance and to help relay emotions
• Two large compound eyes give Canis concolor very sharp vision
• Four smaller sensors beside the eyes capture scents and relay them to the brain
• Thin slits on the end of the snout are used only for breathing. Scents in the air drawn into the lungs of Canis concolor are not relayed to the brain.
• Sharp claws and teeth make Canis concolor a deadly hunter.
How to Adopt
Simply find one you like and fill out the adoption form. Zvers are complex creatures and bond only with a human they feel they can trust. Your job is to impress them in order to form a bond, how you do that depends on the Zver's preferences.
• Zvers can contain only 6 colors total including their eyes/sensors
• They can be any combination of colors, but please avoid eye-bleeders
• Do not make zvers based on popular tv shows/movies unless they are just generally based(so don't pick a character from a show and make it into a zver please)
• Keep edits to a minimum. Accessories and small hair tufts are fine, but ridiculous hair, changes to body structure and other anatomy is not allowed. If in doubt, check with me before posting an edited zver
• Please note that working sensors are the same color as the eyes. Broken sensors are off-color. This is extremely rare and can only be done with my permission since a broken sensor severely hinders a zver's sense of smell.
• You may make yourself one custom and it may not be based on an existing character, these are a species, not a lineart to color old characters in
• You must judge your competitions in a timely manner or I will step in and judge them for you(usually if they are not judged within 2 weeks of the specified end date, please contact me if there is a problem that will prevent you from judging on time)
• If your friend/s enter your competition, I will require you to have an unbiased zver staff member help judge in order to prevent unfair contests(please contact me if you feel like you need any judging help to remain unbiased, I'm happy to either step in myself or assign someone to help out).
• Please ask before creating rare/very rare zvers.
