so i haven't been able to come up with any ideas for my girl camila & i haven't been using her at all & i feel bad about it, so here is her readoption. she has a growth, but it was done off oekaki so i couldn't exactly post it. here it is, though:

anyway, this contest is open to anybody & will end may 13th - so two weeks from now - at 11:59 pm est. there are two prompts, but you can only choose one. the first one i will be likely to lean towards, since i still really love her & would like her to be connected to me still someway, but don't let that discourage you from picking the second prompt. prettying up is allowed & encouraged. feel free to change her gender, btw, i just had her as a female. you have one extra, which is either 200 words or one art piece. one extension can be given if requested !

for the first prompt, you have to explain her relationship with one of my kals, except remy. you can make them friends, enemies, crushes, etc. i would rather you not establish a romantic relationship with her & one of them unless asked through pm. here is the form:

Ideas -
- vet
- Quinn teaches her to be more of a 'bad girl' type
- piercing?
- form their own girl gang but nice just lots of love and support type thing
- Quinn helps her mature a bit
- Quinn brings cat in one day to get Camilla's help makes a joke about memes or dark joke or something. Camilla laughs so hard she snorts Quinn gets over the embarrassment and anxiety because it's obvious Camilla isn't judging her and the two arrange to meet up for coffee or something (Camilla does home visit check up a few weeks later??) Anyway they go for coffee and Camilla is being sweet and innocent and Quinn who's obviously been through/is still going through a lot is more world wise and is amused by Camilla's innocence. They play never have I ever and Camilla confesses she's never had a piercing nor dyed her hair and Quinn becomes determined to change that. So they go into the piercing shop and Camilla is super nervous but she goes up and asks the lady to pierce her ear. They take her into the back room, it's quick and mostly painless she flinches away. Quinn holds her hand as it happens. After they look at each other and say "did we just become friends??" And laugh Camilla snorts again.
- Their friendship isn't an easy one Quinn is irritable at times and gets super stressed when Camila doesn't text her back she freaks out, there's also little bits of paranoia that make her think Camila doesn't like her and she's using her for some sadistic purpose (irrational but yay anxiety)
- Camila finds Quinn can be judgemental and because they've got so much more 'life experience' that her advice should be final. Quite a controlling friend
- Camila and Ruby get on okay.

[ i also want to apologize in advance if i portrayed maverick's character in an absolute incorrect way, i did what i could with the information I could find, and I hope it's at least somewhat close to in-character. ]

When it comes to being enemies, it's very hard to tell with these two. Meera is very defensive about this, often saying that him and Camila absolutely hate eachother. And well, they do, but that doesn't stop them from fighting in a strange way. Typically, the two will argue about almost anything, with Camila laughing at everything Meera tries to argue with, of course only making him more enraged. But instead of fighting with physical force, Camila somehow gets the other to fight him in another way, a dancercise battle. Armed with loud music and fancy feet movements, Camila is somehow able to convince Meera to fight him without actually throwing a punch.

But the relationship between the two is also quite strange, as while Meera is very determined to say that he and Camila are in a strict enemy relationship, it does seem like Camila is getting to care for him in a strange way. Often, laughing and poking at him while also making him drink water when he feels needed and calm down when needed. Camila tries to do this all with music, slowing it down if he feels that Meera needs a moment, and involving some sort of water in the dancercise-fighting if he feels that Meera needs a drink.

Camila feels as if he needs to help Meera let out his anger in other ways, and feels as if he's doing that well. While he doesn't see Meera as an enemy, he doesn't see him as anything more than a rival-friend of some sort. Camila tries his best to help him in any way he can, even if it can be difficult. This feeling gets to him partially because he and Meera are both trans, and he has the motive of 'we folks got to stick together'.

However, when not in immediate proximity to Meera, Camila feels bad for even trying to be enemies with him, even if it's what would make him happier. He wishes to be friends, real friend with him. But he doesn't think he can ever get that far with Meera. Camila knows that simply because they still refer to eachother with their more...feminine sounding names. Camila wants to talk to the other with their masculine name following their actual gender, but they also don't exactly work with him, so it's hard for him to do this without feeling out of line. And he doesn't force the other to call him by his masculine name, both because he believes it's dumb a lot of the time, but also because he doesn't want to force the other kalon to do anything at all, not even calling him by his proper name.

He doesn't mind, really. It's just a bit disheartening sometimes when he really wants to feel valid. He has other people for that though, just because he really wants to support Meera, doesn't mean that he has any need to support him back. And at this point, Camila just deals with it.

Dear Maverick,

Before you tear up this paper, please just give me a second to put my words out to you without the threat of you hurting me.
I need to admit something to you. I like you as a friend. This almost sounds like a love confession, but I assure you it's not.
I see you, in a weird way, as my only friend. You're the only person who wouldn't end my life immediately. You'd at least give me five seconds before destroying my existence. And I'm sorry to say this but, you're a nice guy.

I hate admitting this, but you and I, we have something between us that makes me just...want to be your friend more than anything else. I know you don't usually have others call you by your masculine sounding name, and I wanted to ask if you'd be more comfortable with it, but I never could. If you wish to forget that I see you as a friend, perhaps even my best friend, feel free to rip up this letter to shreds. But I just wanted you to know that if you want me to call you something for comfort, that's okay.

reaction to meeting an alien: "Ruby was strolling down a forest and disregarding her owner's orders (as always) when she saw a beautiful egg, with swirls of orange and stripes of red. Her boldness took over and she took the egg and brought it to her owner's house. She lay on her bed, holding the egg. Ruby loved her owner, but was often lonely, so she gave the egg all of her attention. Day after day, week after week, Ruby cradled that egg like it was her own child. 3 months after finding the egg, Ruby was putting it in a nice blanket when it hatched. The baby was enormous. It was a mystery how it was packed into such a small space. Ruby screamed and ran away. The baby's enormous head, its skin-like wings, and its mind-boggled eyes were all too much for Ruby to handle. The baby hissed and followed Ruby, since it thought she was its mother. Ruby sobbed and rushed as fast as she could away from that hideous beast. The beast wailed for its mother. The alien's true mother showed up just as Ruby started to run away. However, the beast, being frightened, huddled next to Ruby. The mother, being extremely infuriated, attacked Ruby. Ruby tossed the alien baby to its mother quickly, and she saved her own life." Ruby said proudly. "That really happened to me." A friend of hers yelled, "Why do you refer to yourself in the 3rd person?" Ruby blushed and vanished. THE END. (1000 words max)
