The shop lights turned on, her special new outfit on, the sun shining brightly and the ocean right outside the window's view. A small shop in a small building in an large city. Building topple way over the height of Bliss's little boutique. She turns her sign around to show 'Open' and unlocks the door, opening it and leaving it open. Turning around to put her little 'aesthetic' sign in the front. Bliss may not have a big-time shop, but she wants to let others know that they should know it's great to be unique, marvelous to be yourself, and most importantly, amazing to be positive to every twist and turn in the road.

D R E A M S

Bliss has always had a dream to move to the big city from her small town on the cities outskirts, but she has never had enough money to travel that far and bring all of her items and wonderful possessions with her. Her luck changed when she finally earned some big bucks after she learned about her florist job, her mother had given Annie all the funds her and her father had saved up over the years before they had passed away. Bliss had never known the rest of her family, so she had been given most of the stuff from the will her mother and father passed, she was glad to know that she was putting the money to good use. Of course she would still have some extra money that she could use to buy some other necessities.

V I N T A G E

Some may be able to describe Bliss as vintage. They are right. She enjoys 1900’s cameras, record players and of course, fashion. She creates all her own fashion, in the style of a vintage photograph. If you see her you know it’s Bliss, she dresses as the only cool kid in town.

“Vintage is the way to go. Black and white cameras, red vintage bicycles, big sun hats with ribbons, and don’t forget those nice looking model-like pants!”

This fashionista has the pizzaz!

Not only does Bliss make her own clothes, but she has her own vintage store to buy those clothes. Everything in ‘Vintage Boutique’ is created with love and care by Bliss. Not everything looks the same, and she makes sure of it. She helps others with their clothing choices, making sure they buy the product that best suits their style. Not everyone enjoys vintage clothing of course, so she doesn’t mind taking a couple ‘special’ orders for those people. Dresses and flowers go so well together for summertime, and don’t forget those special little daisies that go well when the hair is down. Of course there are plenty of other combinations Bliss has come up with, but only so many she can show at a time!

B L I S S,, I S

Spaces buns and apricot flowers, star sparkles and sparkly perfume, long funky pants and a white tshirt and Bliss is ready to go! She likes to ‘show off’ her outfits to others to represent her boutique. She is a model for her own boutique, of course that’s not because she is self-absorbed or anything, it’s because she doesn’t quite have the money to afford professionals! Although people seem to ask her at the counter if she is the same person.
“Wait one second, are you that model on the front of your store miss?” Bliss would of course lean on her counter and reply easily, not having a clue that it takes years to become a model of that sort.
“Why yes I am! I am the owner of this store and I honestly can’t afford other models or other staff members. I decided to have a friend take my pictures and I would model for my own store. Thank you for asking!”
“Well, I just can’t help but adore your marvelous outfit you are wearing. Do you have it in-stock?” Bliss would have to laugh and smile, walking around the counter to guide them to a desk Bliss decides would suit their style.
“I actually don’t have any replicates of any outfit or shirt, or pants! The only thing I would have replicates of here in my store are sunglasses, hair accessories, and other small accessories!” Bliss had to break the unfortunate news
“I try to make every look fit the person spectacularly, I of course can replicate an outfit, but I still try to make it different to fit everyone well. So it feels as if every outfit has its own unique style and pizazz!” Bliss smiles and leaves them at the desk that suits them.
“Well that is just wonderful, thank you!”

Bliss believes everyone is unique in their own way. She knows that everyone can show off their own style with their own outfit and own personality. You don’t need to try to be someone else, you just be who you are! A marvelous attitude is what Bliss possesses. She tries to show a kind and positive attitude towards everything and everyone. If you are feeling down, have a chat with Bliss! She would love to sit down and have a chat in a cafe, or at her good friend Ares, Ares cafe, maybe by a river, lake or anywhere else is fine too. Just wander on up to her in her little shop, and ask away! She would love to take a ‘Gone Fishin’ break to have a nice chat with another kalon. She’ll make you a new outfit too, if you want one. Or maybe you want to go for a snack with her! She loves to visit the beach and get a slushee, wearing her nice sunnies and taking a nice walk, or wading through the water. If you wanna go for a swim, better be ready for a fashionable swimsuit! Bliss crafts them to make sure they never go under the weather, tear or break. Ask her to craft something for you and she’ll do it! If you’re a good friend she might even do it for free!

N I G H T T I M E

It’s nighttime, she is quite tired. The city lights have become too bright to show off her little shop. It’s time to go to sleep Bliss’s Boutique. She shuts the lights off, turns the close sign around, and locks up for the night. The ocean waves seem to calm as the sun slowly sets over the horizon, the palm trees swaying as kalons pass by. Bliss smiles as she leaves for the night, to go to her apartment and take care of her plants, cat, and get ready for the next day by creating new marvelous outfits!

Aria, a sweetheart since birth and gorgeous in appearance girl, was noticed from a young age. Her mother wanted this, of course. The woman shared photos and videos of her daughter daily, and had invested in vocal and instrumental lessons for her at the moment she could talk. Many would later say that this was odd and controlling of the starlet's mother, and Aria would agree.

Aria was offered acting positions very early in her life, introducing her to a life of fame from childhood. She was allowed to be herself for only a matter of time. As she grew older, those in charge of her insisted that she change from her fun-loving and childlike style to a more modern and abstract style. Her roles as a child in sitcoms over now that she was a teen, her higher ups insisted that she make her way into the music industry too. For survival in the industries, of course. No, never just so more money could be made off her image.

Trendsetter.

This was alright for a while. Aria wrote a few of her songs, but later she was given music that was... weird to her. The concepts were abstract and the videos were overwhelming and elaborate. Her acting roles became ones where she played a mysterious, powerful, and often rude women. She could play the parts extremely well, and was revered for her skills, but she was always dissatisfied with her performances for a reason she couldn't put into words.

This went on for years. Aria became an icon of modern ideas and powerful women. She liked this for a while- the influence she had, the physical comforts, and the adoring fans. She felt accomplished with her life as a star, but as time went on, she realised she wasn't happy.

Aria attempted many times to get permission from those she had contracts with to change her image. Each time she was met with a 'no', and eventually, with anger. We've worked for years to build you this reputation, and you want to throw it all away? No. Aria was hurt, of course, and began to truly understand that the place she'd landed wasn't one of truth. She was simply a puppet for those with ideas to execute them silently. Aria went to her mother, the mother who had always supported her journey, and expressed herself.

"That's how it is, sweetheart." Was all her mother said.

Betrayed and confused, Aria's emotions built up behind the scenes as she maintained a façade for the fans she knew she has a role model for. For about three months, the young star went along in silence with the plans of others, until she just couldn't take it anymore.

She finally snapped. On live TV at an award show interview, where she was being asked how she dealt with negativity. The poor reporter was drowned in her anguished cries as she spilled everything. As she wound down, she realized what she'd done and fled the show, heading straight for her home. When she arrived, she threw off her tight and odd dress, recklessly undid her meticulously styled hair, and sobbed into her pillow for what seemed like hours. As she finally exhausted herself of her cries, she decided on her next course of action.

Weeping.

To prevent further damage, she went into a temporary sort of hiding. She headed to a foreign country where family on her father's side lived, and spent time there assessing her feelings and deciding what she wanted to do next. Eventually, she decided that she would return to Hollywood, but on her own terms.

Cease.

Aria began her return by releasing a new album, this time written entirely by her. She received a hugely supportive crowd in return. With her young and honest personality now back in the spotlight, Aria returned to Hollywood physically and began her own show. A children's show. She surrounded herself with professionals and made sure that her first show would be able to instill in kids the lessons she learned the hard way. Be yourself. Work hard. Love everyone. And be honest.

She continued putting out music too, and acted in sitcoms again with a huge smile. The fanbase was confused for a little while, but supportive. Their favorite star had changed, but for the better. She frequently visited charities and appeared in places that her previous controllers wouldn't let her, such as school dances and state fairs. Small, family-based things. Aria reflected on the changes.

Free.

While she wasn't the same star who had emerged, and while that star had kind of blown up, she felt she shone brighter now, and with a light that would not be extinguished with time.

I had some art in progress that I wanted to add!
I have 3 more pieces that were also on the way but I didn’t quite finish on time, I’ll have them up later for the winner!
