"I was just curious. There's no need to be so violent." The she-cat curled her tail around her paws, eyeing the other cautiously.

You and Lionstar know what I've been through. I just don't believe that they really care about the clans sometimes. Like my parents...why didn't StarClan send us a sign that we'd be invaded? My siblings and I were taken away, and StarClan said and did nothing. I question their motives, you know?" The tom nodded as Mapleclaw sighed. "I hope that when I end up in StarClan I can help save a clan if they need it. Sure, I like killing and all that, but I never want a kit to feel the way I felt. Nobody deserves that."

Spiritual Beliefs: Webfire was many things during her exile. But a believer was not always one of them.
Don't get her wrong, she understands the importance of Starclan and how it's important to have a belief in something. A hope.

But Webfire cannot forgive the clan that she gave so much to, sacrificed so much for only to be cast away. And Starclan had done nothing. The stars had never been more silent than when she was alone back then.

For all she gave, Starclan did nothing, showed her nothing. She felt as if the stars themselves had forsaken her for a path she didn't even choose. But she can't help but wonder if something really is out there. And if not Starclan, then what?

The concept of Starclan annoys Robingaze.
She believes Starclan is real, but it's confusing to understand.
At the very mention of Starclan, she just becomes infuriated.

For the most part, Robingaze can understand things that are brought to her attention on the fly, but Starclan's nature is mysterious, deceiving, and confusing for Robingaze to analyze. She frequently finds herself questioning their tactics, questioning why they are so vague, and why they let certain things happen to the clans if they are supposedly the source of all bad and good events. It frustrates her that they are the source of everything, yet they are not capable of physical manifestation.

TawnyHawk was originally a cat that found peace in a native tribe, growing up there with her family she learned the beliefs of the natives and soon adopted them as her own. She's commonly found watching other creatures, believing everything has a spirit and that she could possibly communicate. AdderStar accepts this though she may be seen as a bit of a strange she-cat in this way, she believes what she grew up around, not denying that the ancestors exist to the other cats, just that she isn't bonded with them like she is with her own beliefs. Sleepingburrow knows little of Starclan, and isn’t entirely sure of their existence. Like, what exactly was there for a warrior beyond this life? Why even stick around after death? What is the point of wasting time praying and pleading for help from a bunch of cats who had passed on? And for that matter, don’t even seem to be doing much!
Sure, Littlebee claims the Grandmother Tree holds ancient spirits, and Falconstar says he meets with cats of old at Starfalls, but why? It’s not like cats worship their ancestors. It’s like a respect for them, and that’s all fine to Sleepingburrow. But don’t pray to a cat who couldn’t even keep themselves from not dying. It just seems foolhardy to do so.

So now, when another cat mentions starclan, Sleepingburrow waves them off and puts her thanks to things more practical. Like thanking those who catch the food, those who change the bedding, and herself for her quick wits.

but she can't find it within herself to do it. there is something within her designed to stop her, a drive that says "you can do this alone and don't need anyone else, living or dead, to help you."

often times she’ll slip away at night to cry out to the stars, asking for some sort of sign, an answer, a reason. but they are as silent as they've always been. she wants to believe, if for no other reason than to stop the emptiness in her soul, but she can't. so, she keeps on, as best she can, facing towards an uncertain future with not even the stars to guide her.
