- this is spidernose's theme song because it shows how he wants to open up and share his feelings with others, especially the ones that he loves, but he can't because he has that wall built up. spidernose finds it hard to trust but he wants to trust everyone and he wants everyone to trust him. this song also represents how he knows that he belongs in his clan but does not feel that way because he is so closed off.
personality:

spidernose's personality is a bit closed off. the tom has a few trust issues so his trust is not easy to gain. spidernose does want to be able to trust others so he was been secretly working on his trust problems and he has actually started to realize that he can be trustworthy despite his past. he has slowly been able to knock down parts of his figurative wall.
other than him not being able to trust others spidernose is quite a sweet tom, he can be a bit awkward at times but that is expected from a cat with his personality type. he prefers to be the listener than the speaker and he is not a big fan of large crowds or being the center of attention. in other words, spidernose is easily embarrassed and he seems to always have a red tinge to his face.
history:

the reason why spidernose is so careful when it comes to trusting other cats is because when he was just about six moons old the young tom was out venturing through the forest [of course without permission] when he stumbled upon a mangy looking rogue with a cunning and manipulative personality. of course the naive young tom spoke to him because he did not know any better. the odd tom was very charismatic and only after a few minutes he got spidernose [spiderpaw at the time] to take him back to his camp.
the problem with bringing this tom back to the camp was that blending into the foliage that was around spiderpaw were about half a dozen more mangy rogues and exkittypets who also followed them back to the camp.
spiderpaw thought that this unnamed tom just wanted to talk to his leader but what that tom had planned was much worse and very malicious. that night spiderpaw's camp was ambushed by those same handful of cats, many were injured and three cats in total lost their life, one of those cats being spiderpaw's father. this isn't all the details but this is how spidernose tells the story, which he seldom does. he likes to use as much detail as possible because he hates to relive that day. now his clan members do not blame spidernose for him being too trusting but spidernose blames himself and that was enough for him to become closed off and less trusting.

A small kit trotted alongside his adoptive mother's side. They had travelled for days. The days since their clan had been destroyed by dogs. The two had barely survived. Pearflower's eyes were heavy with defeat . "Mama, it'll be okay. I'm still here for you," he mewled.
Pearflower glanced towards him. "I know, dear," she purred affectionately; nuzzling him. Ravenkit moved closer to her side; offering silent comfort in the journey directed by a bright star.

Ravenkit made a solemn vow to himself to always be there to help and protect Pearflower, and anyone else.
A vow he will always keep.

Further up the river beyond Dreamclan territory is an endless sea, and not far from it a cluster of twoleg nests where Dragondream had lived as a kittypet named Sable, along with another she-cat she was deeply in love with named Sadie. Sable longed for the freedoms of the outside, making her way to the coastline and wandering its shallows. She dreamt of a place far away where the sun rose to bathe meadows and treetops, and in her dream a star fell from the sky to meet her. The Dreamclan ancestor told her that her destiny was beyond the waves. She had to leave Sadie behind to find where she belongs.

After being accused of murdering the medicine cat's apprentice by her ex-mate, Ravenbriar was banished from the clan. Every day she'd ask herself why she was blamed. spark's tribe has a 'tradition' of sorts that any cat who is a part of their group must discover their personal spiritual journey, and complete it, whether it's for personal emotional/physical growth or discovering something about themselves or the world. those in the tribe help each other find the power to keep on keeping on, and make a change in their life. spark was never a brave cat; he was always very timid, and grew up being the kit that the older kids tried to push around. but since joining soulwhisper and her tribe, he has been able to leave his tough times, the "dog days," behind him and find happiness and confidence. not only for himself, but for those he loves as well. he's learning he needs to let go, allow people to love him back, and that he is the only one that can change himself and his future.
