How do you earn their trust?:
For humans, Tyra needs her space. Humans are a little scary for her since they can have an adverse reaction to her face, and because she's afraid of being trapped in another fire. Tyra needs time to do her own thing, and adjust to her new soundings. She'll come to you when she's ready. Deep down she still loves humans. Once she's ready to approach you, you have to be as noiseless and slow a possible. She is easy to startle, and if she's started she will run away. If she runs away, it's game restart and she'll have to build up to approach you again. Once she knows you, she'll stick with you for protection.
For animals, never ask about her burns. She's self-conscious and this is a bad way to start for her. She's overall trusting of other animals, though she worries she'll step on anything smaller than her.Tyra was always shy, and still is, so she made be hard to get talking. Just keep at it, and eventually, she just needs she'll open up. Sheshe just needs a little patience. She doesn't like loudness and will avoid you if she thinks you are too loud. She is easily hurt, so you have to be careful with your words.

Vinnie lost his previous family in a house fire. He tried to
rescue them, but was forced out by smoke and flames. This is
where he acquired his scars. Now, loud noises frighten him and he
has a hard time making his way out from under his favorite place,
the bed. I would try to keep Vinnie calm by providing a quiet
environment for him to recover mentally in and be patient with
him while I allow him to slowly warm up to me. I would play quiet
white noise, like beach or forest sounds, and feed him treats, like
pieces of cheese or lunch meat. The most important thing would
be to allow him to open up again at his own pace and to provide
the most patience I can. Calm surroundings in the country with a
lot of space to explore and get his energy out with running would
be a really big benefit to him. I would give him the companionship
of other dogs, but only when he is ready for that milestone.

How do you earn their trust?:
Ophelia would be quite skittish due to what had happened to the poor dear so it would't be wise to try to get to close right off the bat. I would have a nice and quiet room for her maybe soft music in the background so it wasn't to quiet nor to loud so she could slowly relax and spend time in the same room while slowly sitting closer and closer and bringing small treats to entice the she-dog. It would definitely take some time of course. When we have seemed to have gotten closer and she began to trust me and get close enough to the point that she would slowly let me touch her and give her gentle pats. I would also bring her some toys and see which of them she would choose and she took a liking to a little plush strawberry that i had brought. I could never see her without it since that day. Due to lots of patience and kind gestures she would finally open up a bit and would actually get excited to see me. At this point she would be comfortable enough to go outside and maybe play a bit with a ball or maybe a little race of which i lose. Soon enough I would introduce her to new dogs and cats of which she would make a friend or two for sure. Slowing gaining the trust of such a sweet dog who deserves a good home and good companionship from me and others that she would hopefully warm up more to.[min: 50, max: 400]

I apologize for how late this judging is! I've gotten rather busy over the last week or so. I felt this was the most relaxed and compelling of the forms, and probably would have the most effect when building trust. Congrats! Take good care of the boy!
