opinion on spider;; brigid has mixed feelings about the spider. on one hand, she feels sorry for it, caught in the sticky amber. trapped and unable to flee, destined to be encased forever against its will. however brigid also feels that the spider is somewhat lucky. it will remain forever as it was when it was trapped there, unaging and immortal. a chry lives an immensely long life, but that is nothing compared to how long this tiny, fuzzy arachnid will exist. these ideas give brigid food for thought, casting her into a pensive state that can last for days.

opinion on spider;; She just deals with it, like, the spider was there and she never has any reservations about it whatsoever. She just feels as if it is a part of her, as if it was another limb or tail. The spider isn't something she is too worried about.

"Henry", as Aranea has lovingly named him, is her comfort object. The little spider has always been there with her, through all of her moments of anxiety, fear, and pain which many of her friends have abandoned her in. He is her tiny best friend. When wandering around, it is not unusual to find her to talking to him either. She tells him everything, dumping all of her daily stress as well as her daily joys on him. Henry is also her good-luck charm. Before going to any kind of nerve-racking event, she asks Henry for some extra luck.

Although I would like to say you asked for “opinion on spider” not a backstory for the spider. If I would have known that’s what you were looking for we could all have included one as well.

______The poor creature was accidentally caught inside her horn whilst she was wandering a tropical forest as filly. She'd passed through a web unintentionally skewering the spider at the end of her littlest horn. She watched the poor thing wiggle to no avail before becoming apart of her. Her fellow fillies and colts teased her about the unfortunate event and tilted her the 'widow maker' as a cruel joke for taking the spiders life. Since then, Amaranth mourns her horn, envying the spider who is encased away in a hard golden shell where nothing can harm it. It'd dark body captured in a golden splendor of solitude. Amaranth desires to switch places with the poor creature, wanting to reserve the harm she's done to it despite it being unintentional. Her time as a filly has made her sensitive and shy. She wants to be seen as a force of life and not a taker of it. Something that can go on forever, like the spider she treasures.

I really liked how you included how the spider got there, it really felt like it had more depth and it was something in her life that really affected her. What a cool perspective! Congratulations!
