The full moon shone bright in the sky above me, and I licked my sharp teeth. I crept softly through the undergrowth, using the leaves to hide me. I took another sniff - I was getting closer to my target.
My biggest obstacle came when I unwittingly stepped out of the safety of the darkness and into the light. I hissed and shrank back into the shadows. Phew.
Finally, I reached my target. The hunt was moments away from finished. I prepared to pounce, and-
Pardon? I can't hear you. Wait, what? You're telling me not to kill them? Kill who? Ohhhh. You think I'm about to kill something, don't you. Honestly, people can be so thick sometimes.
As I was saying, I prepared to pounce, and leaped into a cluster of bioluminescent mushrooms.
Yes, mushrooms, you doofus. I wasn't hunting animals (what do you think I am, a vampire?), I was hunting bioluminescent mushrooms.
