She is not an overly social kal and has a hard time talking to others but she still hates to be alone it makes her feel like she is not worthy of anyone’s time or effort and she always feels like she is bugging the other kals when she try’s and talks to them so she just doesn’t try anymore waiting for others to approach her first

Insomnia, ever since a pup, had horrifying dreams. These dreams where always way too real. The dreams would get worse and worse, to the point that sleeping was not an option anymore. Insomnia couldn't take it anymore, every time we went to sleep, he'd sleep in agony. It was a living nightmare for him. He even thought he saw creatures from his dreams appear around him and watch him. So, Insomnia grew to have a fear of sleeping, so deeply scared of his dreams.

Katherine has a fear of snakes, or as scientists call it; Ophidiophobia. One sunny afternoon, Katherine was playing in a garden. She, of course, wasn't too afraid if there was a snake nearby since she was so busy frolicking around in a garden of flowers. In an instant, Katherine felt the air get knocked out of her! She was on her back gasping for breath, but in her head, she heard a familiar hiss of a snake. "Sssssooo, you wanted to frolic in my garden of flowerssss? I now mussssst haunt you for doing that," the revenge-filled snake hissed. Katherine shot up, her claws unsheathed since she had been filled with such fear. Since she was too afraid to continue frolicking in the patch of flowers, she pounced over the wooden gate she had used to get in. From then on, that snake haunted her, making her afraid of any snake she saw, heard, or met, even if it was the kindest one you would ever meet. That is the story of Katherine's deepest fear.

What is their deepest fear?;;
Kota is a very paranoid individual. He could freak put over anything and whenever. Hes very open to the paranormal and unexplained. Which doesnt help his paranoia one bit. One of his biggest fears are the things that hide in the dark. Hes afraid of the monsters that lurk and that one day they'll snag him up. From the ones that pull you under the bed while your arm hangs off, or the ones that watch you on a cold lonely night calling your name out.
Kota can only sleep under a fortress of blankets, always afraid that they can still sneak and slip in and grab him into the night. He uses the scarf around his neck to shield his eyes from what lurks in the night.

What is their deepest fear?;;
Saben is known for being, quiet, methodical, predictable and prepared. He’s unfazed by anything that happens, and always seems to be in control. People don’t really like him, but they depend on him. If one thing’s for sure, it’s that Saben will have a genius solution, well-thought out, calmly relayed, and efficiently put into action.

But what people don’t know, is something that Saben keeps locked up inside – the fear of loss of control. Everything must be in order. Anxiety creeps in when things don’t go as planned. His face doesn’t show it, but fear builds up inside – if something were to go wrong, if the unexpected fell upon him, what would he do? His world would fall apart.

But no need to worry about that, of course. Saben has a plan for everything. Every eventuality is accounted for – when a situation arises, he methodically peruses his mental folders and takes out the one prepared for just this moment. His intellect is strong enough, and there’s nothing he hasn’t considered in the realm of possibility, nothing he doesn’t have the result mapped out for.

If such a thing were to happen, that would truly be something to fear.

Peering into a mirror, and laying eyes upon the very soul he never aimed to be.
Being told he would never amount to anything, never be anything, was a staple in his childhood. It was right up there with other families saying words like "I love you" and "you'll do well." For Jiyong, it was normal.
As the kalon grew older, he learned of true passion and the care that went into friendships. He learned of families and lifestyles that were the worlds' normal, not the one he grew up being battered by.
But deep down, Jiyong feared the example his father had left behind. That anger had settled heavily in Jiyong's heart, and sometimes he caught himself snapping or glaring at kindness given so freely his direction. Although his mannerisms are watched closely, there is still much repair his poor soul needs, and Jiyong fears he may become just what his awful father wanted; nothing but cruel.

one hundred and forty-three.
black, beady eyes. large, leathery wings.
just the thought of such a creature sends shivers down her spine and keeps her up for weeks on end. chiroptophobia- that's what her friend called it. hana always did like long words. the therapist didn't help much either, not that therapy ever worked for her to begin with. talking, let alone to strangers, never was her forte. maybe it even made things worse. who ever knew the mind could be such a fickle thing? it most likely started with that trip to ecuador- why the bat kept coming into their hotel room was beyond her. it didn't bother her much, that is until she woke up in the middle of the night with the thing crawling all over her leg. after that, she needed five rabies shots, but mabyn went home with more than just scratch marks.

Have you ever felt your consciousness, snapping under the weight of reality? Lumine knew how it felt, as his body seemed to weigh on him to the extent where most would collapse.
But he never did.

No matter how heavy his shoulders and eyelids would get, he would refuse to sleep. Living in the fear, that if he closed them and rested. His body would no longer be his own. He grew distraught at the thought of his own mind being caged by the others in his head.

"I can't sleep.. never sleep..."
He repeated that every minute that he was awake, staring at the wall in some hopes it would save him. Take him away from this never ending nightmare, that plagued his mind like a virus.

Somewhere he felt it, knew that if he let himself go that others would suffer. Because of him. Never could he sleep, not ever again.

and just like that, it was over. one more friendship, one more relationship she had worked so hard to build and to keep, gone. gone forever. she'd lost count of how many she had lost by now. and because of that, how she reacted really was no big surprise. she lifted her head, walls coming down behind her eyes and over her heart. walls she had let down for various others in the past. when would she learn?

"I get it. I understand."

she grinned, teeth showing, but there was no light in it. this was why. this was why she couldn't allow herself to feel anything. she needed to stop with her naivety, her belief in actually having a friendship that she wouldn't mess up. and to everyone around her, she handled it well. very well. she got over it within the hour, probably because she was so accustomed to it. how were they to know that she went home that night and choked on bitter sobs at three am? she wished she wasn't so utterly afraid of loneliness itself.
