“They can see you.”

He shook with deep sobs as he curled at the foot of his bed. He knew they could see. They could see right through him. He knew that they could tell all of his flaws, all of his wrongs. What if they hated him, what if all of them would never forgive him?

“They already know, Benjamin.”

Now he was up, racing through the halls of a school. He knew that they’d all see him if he wasn’t fast enough. If he could run fast enough, they wouldn’t be able to see. All of his flaws flew beside him in the wind, threatening to fly away and show themselves to everyone.

“All of them hate you.”

He screamed in agony at what he had done. He had stayed too long, and now they all saw him. All of them knew who he was, what he had done, who he had disappointed. All of them could tell what flaws belonged to him. Maybe, if he wore something, they wouldn’t see the flaws hidden there? Maybe he could store them in his scarf.

Yes, that would do just fine.

Calculated were his movements, questions read thrice for clarity. Fifty-one out
of a hundred; that's the score he needed. Any less and he could fail that course;
any more and he could lose the game.

Dale was more intelligent than a 51, undoubtedly. He graduated high school with
high honors and multitudes of awards. He got into a prestigious university with full
scholarship and allowance. What was the problem, then?

Family and money, that's what.
His father worked overseas, his mother desperately needed surgery, and he entered
a game that could cost him his future.

The generations-old game was simple: graduate last rank of the batch, and each
batchmate is obliged to give you cash from their allowance. The catch, however,
was that failure in a course resulted to expulsion and return of allowance. Hundreds
of graduates meant thousands of dollars in Dale's hands; failure meant debt to the
university and his scholarship.

Graduating with honors never got him extra cash, Dale thought, and he was fighting
to be the scapegoat so his family could fight to survive.

Never did he imagine he'd fear failure, but he was teetering dangerously on a
tightrope and could fall from grace any time.

Astraphobia

Fear of Lightning

it's a summer evening at jonny's house. he rests on his couch at home,
looking outside the window. he knew it was going to rain, and he knew
what was coming but he still never knew how to get over it.
he never did, ever since that day in july. the day he lost control, and
he feared the storm, he feared him. why so much? he wouldn't ever know.
suddenly, a crackle, and a strike lights up the sky. the fur on the back
of his neck prickles as he sharply inhaleS and exhales. not again.
he begins to uncontrollably shake, not able to swallow his clear discomfort
away anymore.
the crackles and booms get louder, and his chest feels as if it's going to collapse.
he runs from the living room, but he ends up standing in the middle of it all.
he sees the rain pouring onto his pelt, dampening his scarf. he sees the lightning in the sky,
he feels nauseous. as soon as it started, it was over. he's still sitting on his couch,
as he looks around in the comfort as his home. it's still raining, lightly though,
as if it never happened.

What is their deepest fear?;;

Canto has Agoraphobia, the fear of not being able to escape if anxiety gets too high. He has a fair amount of social anxiety, and dislikes even small crowds. He prefers to be by himself, or with his close friends, though he only has a few of these. Most of the time, Canto will be found reading whatever book he can get his hands on to avoid getting into situations where his fear will kick in.

What is their deepest fear?;; Their deepest fear is going back home.
Ajax was born & raised in a small town in New Zealand. They left home at 17, to travel the world. Once he got back lots had happened, and everyone including himself had changed. He didn't like it. Ajax imagined going back to the same home, but alas that did not happen. Ajax wasn't there for a lot of main events, jokes, stories, etc. and couldn't keep up.
What didn't help was his father passed away while he was travelling, and his mother continuously reminded him that he was not by his father's side when he needed to be.
Ajax decided to move to Greenland, he could not take his friends or family any longer.
He quickly got sick of it there, and then went to Iceland. He preferred Iceland much more, and decided to stay.

Now Ajax has 3 dogs, a loving girlfriend, and a well paying job. He is much, much happier.

What is their deepest fear?;; seaweed. he hates it, it freaks him out. as a lil kid, he had a pool (so no weeds, grime, or bottom muck here!), so when he got out to actually swim in the ocean for the first time, he was, to say the least, very concerned for his safety. seaweed feels gross to him; slimy, ticklish, gritty, and all around a bad experience for him.
