Komo's name - Holland Murpheus
Komo's gender/pronouns - he/his
Komo's biggest regret (under 300 words) -
Holland may be the kindest soul on this planet, an absolute sweetheart who somehow, ironically and unfortunately for him has the very opposite of a green thumb.
He was one of the first komohærts to have his bulb fall and ever since Holland has not been able to grow anything.
One particularly gloomy and rainy day Holl spotted what looked like a crumpled piece of tissue outside his windowpane; appalled at himself for littering the komo donned his raincoat and rushed outside. Upon further inspection the bewildered komo found that the lil' tissue was in fact a baby cockatiel!
The tiny chick was laying with one wing folded underneath its body. Trying not to panic Holland shrugged off his rain jacket and propped it up on a stick as a make-shift tent. He quickly gathered a box and snatched his sister's favourite ribbon off the table as bandage/cast for his new friend upon running out.
Holland spent the next weeks like a new parent, waking up dutifully every couple of hours to check on his companion. To feed, to clean and to warm the little bird with his own heat. The cockatiel gradually regained its strength, the first sound it uttered was an odd, (un)birdlike "beep". Holland and "Beep" would spend all of their waking moments together, becoming virtually inseparable. However, one day, Beep fell incurably ill and even with Holland's feverish efforts to help, could not make it through.
Holland blames his "curse" and himself for Beep's passing and from that day forward kept Beep's cast/ribbon tied firmly on his neck as a reminder.
Even though, somewhere in his shattered heart Holland knows that Beep's passing was natural and no fault of his own this little komo still needs lots of time and space to heal. (297)

Komo's name - Astashia

Komo's gender/pronouns - female

Komo's biggest regret (under 300 words) -

Astashia will always regret not taking the chance to spend more time with her friend geneve. Astashia would blow off geneve when she asked to hang out thinking they would have time later. As this practice became more frequent to Astashia she was unaware of geneve’s dwindling mental health. It was a foggy sunday afternoon when she received a letter from geneve’s parents, the letter was filled with grief and sorrow as they explained geneve’s condition and how she had passed onto the other life. They requested that Astashia attend her funeral and astashia obliged still filled with longing and dread. The last words astashia said to geneve were “I’ll see you tomorrow.” Astashia now wears geneve's bow around her neck as a reminder of their friendship. Astashia is plagued by the death of her best friend and regrets not being able to express how much she enjoyed geneves company and existence as a friend and emotional supporter.

Komo's biggest regret (under 300 words) -
Chai regrets what she said to her parents, she was so filled with anger and stress that she didn’t even understand what she was doing, she regrets everyone word and every scream. The look on there faces were terrible, in fact they were heart breaking, It’s like the light in their eyes just vanished, and all was dull and broken. But, Chaii knows that they will accept her deepest apology, and with all her heat she regrets everything she said. All she wishes is for the love with her parents <3 (91 Words)

Komo's name - esther
Komo's gender/pronouns - female | she/her
Komo's biggest regret - esther's biggest regret is not saying yes to more things. when others invited her to do things she'd always say no, or cancel on her friends at the last minute. she always stayed in, and never tried to be spontaneous with her decisions, and these actions led her to being unhappy with her life, and losing her friends. esther wanted a change and the first step towards that was saying yes. she made a goal for herself that she would say yes to the next offer her friends made to her. so she was invited to an activity, and she went out for the first time in a while, and soon realized all of the things she was missing out on in life. nowadays she is going on every outing she can, and is the happiest she has been, with much closer relationships to her friends.

rain,

Komo's name -
Cassandra (Cass)

Komo's gender/pronouns -
Female (she/her)

Komo's biggest regret (under 300 words) -
No matter how calm and collected she may seem, Cass's biggest regret will always be turning her away. At the time, it seemed smart enough. After all, she was her best friend; Romantic feelings were something that just seemed to peculiar. Of course, that didnt mean Cass didn't love Asaiya. After her rejection, Cass finally realized that those butterflies fluttering in her heart every time she saw Asaiya meant something. Love. It was a feeling she had never known before until she met Asaiya, but now she knew what it was.
"I'm going to tell her."
Those were the words that truly meant something to her. Despite her hatred of promises, those words were a promise she was determined to keep. However, something strange happened. Asaiya was coming around less and less. Seeing her every day turned to every month, every year. Finally, not at all. It was peculiar. She was just..gone, and Cass realized something. Her rejection ruined the chance of finding love, and she not only lost a beloved one, but also a beautiful friend.

To this day, Cass makes sure to be more cautious and considerate when it comes to friendship, and still waits for Asaiya's return.

komo's biggest regret -
there are many things you regret, things you linger on even in the present, when you tell yourself it no longer matters and dwelling on them will only bring you unnecessary pain. but nonetheless, you still think about them, all the ways you went wrong and all the things you wish you had done differently...

you think your biggest regret was your own selfishness blinding you. not seeing the signs. every time she got up on stage and showed the world her talents, each performance left you thinking more and more - she couldnt possibly think that way about herself. she had everything that anyone could ever want, so how could she think so negatively like she did in the letters? it just didnt make sense to you, at the time, but soon enough, the situation would escalate, finally bubble angrily to the surface, and you would realize much too late. and that's exactly what happened.

you realized too late what she meant, all those times she wrote to you about her feelings in her letters. what she was thinking, what she was doing, what she felt. as her friend, you brushed it off each time, never went to see her or comfort her. you were convinced she of all people couldnt think like that, and yet.

there is nothing left to think about now, is there. you are alone. you neglected her feelings, so she stopped writing to you. you couldnt understand how she could feel like you did when you were both so different, led such different lives, so she moved on. she got the help she needed, and you...

you live in the shadows, wishing you could work up the courage to send her a letter back, for all the ones you ignored.
