favorite festival? {max 500 words} beltane, the fire festival.
pyro, true to his name, favors the heat of a hearth over the frigidness of, well, anything. which is why the kalon loves the fire festival. beltane is based off a scottish rock band named the beltanes. although they're not around today, pyro could not be more of a die-hard fan. the fact that the festival still occurs makes pyro's fan-boyish heart skip a cliche beat. the retro kalon can't help himself, joining in on every festival he can. his favorite part, the bonfire. the large flames that warmed him in his soul and all over. his eyes would close and he would just let everything settle in. the crackling of the burnt wood, that had such a distinct scent that made his nose twitch. the soft breeze, the smoke smacking him softly in the face. the perfect mix of silence and buzzing of life. the people that surrounded him were just like him, content and warm, feeding off every second that they were there. pyro loves all those feelings. every single one.

favorite festival? {max 500 words} Cooper Hill's Cheese Rolling Festival
Interested in any sort of celebration, Axel is extremely excitable when it comes to any sort of decoration and crowds of people but there aren't always continuous parties and celebrations happening in large quantities. Because of this, Axel attempted to resort to attending races and marathons, the crowds and faint sense of decor an ever looming attraction for him, however actually participating in the marathons and races was not exactly his forte. It wasn't a lack of athleticism but rather the kid was just built with four left, and rather large uncoordinated, paws. Soon after his fifth or six race -and countless numbers of bruises and scrapes- it was suggested to him to look into the great Cheese Rolling Festival. Even after only reading into it's details Axel was already sold. It held one of his favorite food items -cheese- brought about a festive but still active air, but also didn't require any real coordination. It seemed more of a suggested sort of thing anyway, compared to getting stared at as you fall or possibly tripping others during a marathon. Here however, it was widely acceptable to stumble and simply roll down, doing so would even elicit a light roar of excitement from onlookers. While it does only come about once a year it holds a special place in his mind as the clumsy soul, bless him, couldn't have found a better festival to match his goofy nature.

favorite festival? {max 500 words} She could already taste the sweet whipped creme and tangy berries the moment she skipped under the large, waving banner. "Annual Florida Strawberry Festival," it read -- Kaina's favorite festival!! Each year, all she could do to tide herself over while waiting for the March festivities was entertain herself with other festivals. Sure, the New Year festivals had great rides; and maybe the Winter carousel is as great as everyone says it is. But in Kaina's eyes, nothing beats the fresh red strawberries found at the Spring Strawberry Festival.
Tail swinging, the kalon leaps towards the nearest line for fresh shortcakes. Her friends would be here in about an hour (Kaina always shows up to festivals extra early.) The baker, in the midst of his haste, looks up from his workstation to wave at Kaina.
"Long time no see! Don't worry about me selling out this time, I brought extra shortcake batter just for you," he winks.
Kaina smiles in response and grins under the gentle Spring sun.

favorite festival? {max 500 words} the one time a year the rulers of edoilia allow the citizens to see the ground is by far her favorite time of year. the festival around it is without a doubt her favorite festival. living your life on top of literal clouds is wonderful if you’re used to it. it comes with the fear of falling off however.
being on the ground is like a safety mat. not to mention the amazing food variety brought by the other kingdoms. it’s a special, one time a year kind of deal for them. winged citizens take it all for granted, they can simply fly between the kingdoms. normal citizens though, the only time they can see the ground is this time of year.
