Beaverfang knows one thing about life - a good name should be brave and strong. Something that keeps you going when you’re scared, that reminds you of how powerful you have the ability to be. Beaver doesn’t often think about kits, but when she does, this is what she thinks of.
. She would give her kits names of the forest - names of the wild predators. Hawk, Badger, Fox, Bear, Owl... all dangerous creatures. All powerful, intimidating enemies. She would name her kits these things and then she would raise them to be as strong as the things they were named after. Swift as the hawk, protective as the badger, sly as the fox, brave as the bear, silent as the owl... yes, her children would learn these things, and they would become the most courageous of all.
. For Beaverfang had always been a fighter... and she would want to pass down the ferocity that she keeps as her own.

prompt: While Amberbloom is too young and doesn't really wants kits at the moment she does have around five names for them:
Hazekit, Greykit, Smokekit, Flintkit and Honeykit.

She loves the idea of naming grey and smoke after the territory of their clan, their territory is shrouded with soot and ash. Hazekit and Honeykit were just names she thought of as a small kit, the names stuck with her since they seem so sweet. Finally Flintkit, Calm; collected; intelligent; standoffish or just a grey and white cat. She's always loved the name!

Due to being a loner for most of his life, Tigercreek didn't really have much time to think about kits. Neither did he have much time to think about starting a family. Mainly because his only goal, before he joined his clan, was to survive. However, if he were to settle down with someone, then he would at least like to have a litter of four kits.

Willowkit - he would name this kit, after his grandmother, 'Willow'. A kind and caring cat, who he had deeply looked up to whenever he visited. While she may have passed away, he knew she would of spoiled any kits he had. The reason he would give the kit this name, would be because of their calm and caring nature.
Pinekit - he would name this kit after the forest, that mostly covers his clan's territory. While many would believe that it was because of the kit's appearance. It is actually because of the kit's smart and careful personality. But it also acts as a reminder, that lets the kit know that while they may feel alone, they never truly are.
Rainkit - he would name this kit, after the weather itself. The reason behind this name, is because he actually finds the rain to be quite soothing and calm. Especially when it rains at night, considering that without lightning, it is actually quite harmless. Therefore, the reason this kit would be given this name, would be because of their playful and friendly nature.
Swiftkit - he would name this kit, after their smaller and thinner build. Meaning that this particular kit, would both be slightly faster and prove to be more agile than the others of their litter.

Pinefrost was previously a loner named Pine, and he roamed around in the Ancient Oak Forest and hunted for himself. He encountered many wild beasts, such as badgers and foxes, and as he encountered more of them throughout his lifetime he began growing in his strength and cunning. Once he met Nettlestar and became part of BushClan, he was able to use his skills to help the Clan. He is now very loyal to the Clan- and he knows that if he ever has kits, he will name them after experiences that he's had. He's already begun thinking of names, such as Swallowkit, the first bird he'd ever caught after being abandoned by his mother as a kit. Another name he has in mind is Duckkit, because once he had made a shelter between the roots of a tree, he killed a duck and used its downy feathers to warm his nest. Or Marigoldkit, from when he got cut by a branch and then squeezed some marigold on it to ease his pain. And finally, Pricklekit, from when he stumbled into a barrier of thorns and brambles that turned out to be BushClan's camp.

- Laurelsong has several names in mind but she has always been fascinated and a little in love with the sky and what is outside of the Earth. She hopes to have two to four kits with the following names
- Nebulakit - after the clouds that are farther above than any others. They are the ones that are different yet beautiful.
- Novakit - after a kit that comes in with a bang, they are the brightest in the litter.
- Cometkit - after the mesmerizing stars that shoot across the night sky.
- Eclipsekit - most likely named after the darkest kit in the litter. Or the biggest one that would cover the others.

These are all phenomena that interests her as she sees them in the sky.

Since Thawstream is a medicine cat, she is unable to have kits, or so the warrior code says. But before she became the medicine cat she had 4 perfect names picked out, all named after healing herbs.

Cobwebkit- She had cobwebkit picked out when she had to treat Swiftstar's ear wound. She thought of it as a healing sort of name, making sure that if that kit was real, it would be the kit that followed a healing path. Helpings others, making them smile everyday, just like she sees Swiftstar do.

Poppykit- She picked out Poppykit's name during her treatments with Sunpatch. When she picked out this name, she had been helping Sunpatch with a sudden pain in her legs. She thought of the name as a easing name, easing the pain of others when they are distressed or unhappy, much like poppy seeds do for the cats.

Rushkit- She picked out Rushkit's name during the time Pinefur broke his foot. She imagined Rushkit as the the cat who helps hold the clan together, much like the herb rush does in need of a broken bone.

Thymekit- When she picked out Thymekit's name, it was during the time of her medicine cat ceremony. Thyme calms the mind and anxiety when taken, and she wanted Thymekit to be the one to calm others when they are in need of it.

Like the way his own name gave him strength Tigerspirit feels that a cat finds who they are within their names. A name, especially the prefix of a name can set a cat up for greatness. So, if Tigerspirit had kits he would hope he’d have at least three kits in which he would name Jaykit, Thunderkit, and Treekit. He does hope to have more than three kits but those are his top favorite names. He has loved there prefixes since he was young and has a strong opinion of each that he hopes will be seen in his kits.

A jay is known as a witty, bold bird. One that seems to demand respect by their looks and the way they hold themselves with pride. They are ready to drive off their enemies while being fiercely loyal to their kind. Tigerspirit hopes this name will help his kit be closely knit with the clan and to never doubt themselves.

The sound of thunder can be so loud that it sends the earth and beings shaking with fear. It does not hold back. To those brave enough thunder can have a soothing effect making them feel courageous. Tigerspirit hopes that this name will grant his kit those skills in battle. The skills to be solid on his feet with a loud battle cry placing fear in the hearts of his enemies.

The roots of a tree run deep into the ground connecting it with the life around it. Trees are strong, sturdy beings that are also very peaceful and are able to weather any storm. Tigerspirt hopes that the prefix tree would help this kit be connected with the world around them while being tough enough to handle the hardship of life.
