How is Kalons Adopts special to you: hnn i just like the opportunity to develop my characters and especially, in some competitions in the past, be motivated to write longer stories and develop my skills. i think being into kalons is a p positive influence as it pushes for more creativity and productivity than other pastimes.

How is Kalons Adopts special to you: wow I dont know if I'm the same person I was before kalons? It started with coming out of my shell to ask about getting a myo and all and from there it spiraled down into what it is today. I met some really good friends because of this community, and I feel I've really come out of the shell I'd built up around myself. I'm not afraid to join a stranger's stream, or start one for myself! It just feels really nice to be a part of this community, and I wouldn't trade that.

A big shout to Sixbane for being so loving and patient and absolutely wonderful? I used one of your artist entries for my very first kal, how could I forget something like that? And every interaction I've ever had with you was so patient and loving and all around really fun? You're just really sweet and deserve the world ok?

Also Red, my love it's been wild being in so many of your streams, just sitting around and chatting and having fun. Ahh you're also hella nice and share a lot of similar interests with me?? ; o ; I'm 90% sure I've already gushed at you about all the great things you do but yanno <3

How is Kalons Adopts special to you: Kalons are mainly special to me because of the community. I've met so many great people and was able to share my art and writing, and to hear/see others' as well. Through doing this, I've also improved greatly in both areas! It's a very unique sort of community to be in, and honestly I wouldn't have ever thought I'd touch the species until a few months ago (Novemberish last year?), but I'm very glad I did!

Meridiem - my general best friend on this site! I'm so glad I got her into the community and honestly it's been great, we're able to collaborate on comps and share each others' art/writing, and it's a fun thing to talk about irl <3 also she's so sweet and makes the cutest art??? ily and phod ;v

☁Lady Raincloud☁ - wouldn't be in the community without her! She was responsible for giving me my first kal as an RU and I've been forever grateful, one of my favorite kalons that I own :')

idk .. it just kinda. has really improved my mood over the past few months and had just in general has helped me to see certain things, to improve my writing and drawing through a series of prompts from the adopts - and it’s amazing seeing other people’s talents n stuff, and getting to know/interact with them is the best thing!

How is Kalons Adopts special to you: For me, Kalon Adopts have become special in not only the community, but allowing me to have a writing prompt and write for a given amount of time. I know that I could kina just do that on my own, but for me this is a great way to practice my writing abilities, and be also given the opportunity to just free write with a specific question in mind.

I know that you've only tried out for a few kalons, but your answers to prompts and the actual way you write is so inspiring to me. How is Kalons Adopts special to you:
Kalons have been the first closed species where I have actively been able to participate in adopts. By the time I really started to get into closed species on CS, two of the more popular ones which I had just started trying out for adopts from closed. I drifted for a while, looking into smaller species and picking a few up that I liked, but then I found kalons. They had already been up and running in version one when I found them, but I fell in love. The wide range of edits that artists could apply was unique compared to what I had seen before, making kalons a very dynamic species, the basic lines (which were already adorable) not being limitations. When I got my first kalon, I was speechless, something that the other species adopts had never done to me before, I'm not sure why. I later found the kalon discord, and while I don't have much of a presence, I love seeing everyone interact, and it has become a goal for me to try to talk, even just a little bit. Kalons are a kind of first for me when it can to investing in adopts. I've made so much art and writing and am able to see my progress through them, and that really boosts my confidence. Okay, I hope that made a lick of sense and I didn't just babble ;-;

Eep, hey D.Va Online. I know its only been a handful of weeks since we met, but I have loved knowing you. Building our kalon family and talking about it has been a joy for me and being able to share the art I have made of them with you has always made me feel better. I loved sharing the excitement with you as we waited for our kits and it's just been a great time ^_^
