What Do They Love The Most:
diamante loves the planet she was born on. her planet is literally alive; a creature that is millions of years old. while the creature gives them a place to live, they are given the task to protect it in return. that means nobody is allowed anywhere near their "planet" unless talked about beforehand. they have advanced technology there, and they can even spy on other planets, such as earth, which is light years away. which, they're glad for. the planet is filled with diamonds, and they know that the greedy earthlings would come to their planet immediately if they found out and had the tools to get there. everything there is clean and crisp, almost looking metallic with the colors that are there. all lighter colors; diamante has most likely never seen a dark blue or red color in her life. the planet also provides them with the ability to be able to touch the ground and have instant communication with anybody around. all you have to do it touch the ground and you have an instant message to someone. which is good if you're in trouble and can't reach anybody through your phone - which is unlikely, considering nothing goes wrong - and they have high technology so it's almost always working. but it's still nice to have, and diamante feels cool whenever she uses it. she barely uses her phone to call anybody anymore, considering she can just touch the ground, close her eyes, and think of her message to someone and they get it almost instantly. it's also good for annoying your friends when you feel like being an annoying little gremlin. along with that, the planet is also able to talk to them. not through words, but through feelings. if its feeling bad, it'll be able to send a signal to them all and they'll know the problem and try to help the best they can. if there's danger ahead - like a sinkhole or something - its also able to warn them of that. on this planet, it only snows as well, which diamante loves. it's usually just little flakes here and there, nothing major. the most snow they've ever gotten is an inch of snow, nothing more. the people on her planet are also quite nice and loving; which is also a plus.

Gliding across the courtyard, Eira took in a deep breath of the crisp winter air. Her look turned from contempt to one of a more sombre nature. Her pace quickened as she reached the great hall and with all her might she opened the gold embellished doors, a frown spreading across her face. With each step she took, her mood darkened. Conjuring the courage of the Goddesses, she walked right up to the Emporer, not caring about the rules and regulations. Guards hurried around, not knowing what the girl would do next. She leaned in so close to the Emperor, she could smell what he had for lunch.
"How dare you go against my will! How could you betray me like this?!"
She backed down from the throne, tears starting to stream down her face. The surrounding guards were frozen in fear, a pin-drop silence among the guests in the hall. Not once did the Emperor flinch in this ordeal, and with the same blank expression on his face, he stood slowly. Everyone in the room still frozen in fear. Eira was now collapsed on the floor crying her heart out. The Emperor slowly walked over to the crying mess, where Eira took a swipe at his ankles. Guards hurried over to protect their master but were halted at his nod. He let the girl tired herself before telling her to get up.
"You're a disgrace to the family name. I am ashamed to call you my daughter."
He never laid an eye on her and turned to address the stunned crowd watching from a distance. Eira could hear nothing but static,
and regaining her feet she ran off into the frightening winter night.

Red and orange glowed through the windows as the morning sun bounced off the bleak white earth. Eira stirred and shifted in her bed; an old mattress with a hastily sewn together quilt. Since the falling out with her father 4 years ago she'd isolated herself in a small cabin on the outskirts of the empire. Groaning, she slipped out of bed and into her fur coat and boots, ready for a day of work. She flicked her hood over her long moon-coloured hair and opened the door. Her tiny home was flooded with warm oranges from the everlasting sunrise. Breathing in the crisp air, she closed her eyes. Eira imagined the perfect world, but when she opened her eyes again, she saw desolation.

What Do They Love The Most: wip - reserving with love itself, even though she can't find it.
What does she love? Love itself.
Love is a finicky thing, and she likes that. It picks and chooses and sometimes misses, cupid's arrows led astray in visions of rosy clouds, lots of little couples ending in a mess of mistakes. She thinks those mistakes are beautiful. It's the world's way of working, a complicated clockwork system with no clock to move, only ticking, pushing, and creating. Creating what? Love. Passion. Dedication. Faith. Adoration. It creates horrors, peril, and disasters, too, but those aren't mistakes, no; even the loss of love strengthens love, redirects love, or allows new opportunities for love. It's all a dice roll. A thousand-sided dice roll. Maybe a million. There's too many possibilities and paths in the winding roads of love and life, and she thinks every single one is lovely and purposeful. Perhaps she's a little strange, more than a little strange for thinking that mishaps have their purposes and that the universe is working the way it's supposed to even with tragedies in life and love, but it's what she believes.
Love is finicky, but it's a strong thing, too. That's why she has so much faith in it. Sure, there are couples that last a week, maybe days, maybe hours, but there's so much more beyond that simple love. Love isn't reserved for romance, too. Love is the strong bonds between families and friends, love is the passion and ambition for something one truly adores, love is the dedication towards seeing happiness in others; love is everything to her, and those loves are strong. They are strong-willed, determined, a true, unbreakable faith in the world and the subjects of love, and this love is everywhere! She simply, well, loves seeing all the love in the world around her, and she herself is determined to look beyond misfortunes to still see it through.
