Favourite camping memory: Once, while Alix was camping deep in the woods, she heard a lot of rustling in the bushes. After gathering the courage to peek outside the tent, she found a baby deer trapped by some thorny plants. More deer - presumably the parents - nervously pawed at the ground, unsure what to do. Alix slowly approached the baby deer, and was able to coax it into letting her release its leg from the plant. The deer joyfully hopped away with its family, but not before nuzzling Alix very fondly (and allowing her to take some pictures).
