but like the song describes, Ariella is
very bright and bubbly but she hides

how it relates to the komo ;; Lumina likes to think of herself as a kind of Fae, or Fairy. She wonders the woods with her lantern, singing sweet yet eerie lullaby's calling them to her so she may bring them somewhere safe.. she home with her lovely garden. This song is one of the many songs she sings to the children and despite it's eerie tone it's a very lovely song that she loves.

how it relates to the komo ;; red is reckless, over-confident, and whips through anything. he is fast, driven, and un-stoppable. if he has a goal in mind, you can't move him from it. even in the tensest of situations, red has a sly grin on his face, and a show-offish attitude. he is, some may say, too confident for his own good. but, after all, danger's not only his middle name, daredevil's his first!

when in doubt, die. you'd think someone would know not to take that literally, right? well in her age, sarcasm and common sense weren't a concept yet.
one of the first komos to walk her planet, komos eons older decided to play god. they wiped memories of a collection of people and set them free on a planet similar to terra. it was like watching the beginning of time for them, but for the komos thrown out it was a confusing, scary new place. a

" i'm ready for the worst "

right and wrong, an unknown mindset. baal took a sharpened rock and fought another for food. it was survival of the fittest here. that night, the new worlds first murderer was born. their experiment couldn't work if they didn't learn they couldn't turn on each other, though. they tried to have her killed, but in their attempt of playing with unknown forces they awoke true gods.
sahara, the god of honor, deemed baal's death unjust and had her soul returned by the rulers of the underworlds.

" with monsters much bigger than I can control now "

her soul was sent to the colosseum lilith, lord of the cursed souls. her price for bringing back a soul was always a curse, however. baal regained half a life. her curse didn't seem like a curse at first. she freely roamed Echeujan, land of dishonor, and Mugron, land of the living mortals. as long as lilith lived though, she'd remain alive.
another curse was the third eye. not an actual third eye, more of a metaphorical one. she gained the sight of demons and ghost only achieved by komos at peace. she'd be able to see the decaying souls of tortured souls, they'd follow her curious of her. she'd never be able to leave or live a different life, with a cursed soul you also earn a branding of lilith. her branding allowed her to find any of her souls as well as keeping them out of the pearly gates.


" you'll know I wasn't joking when you see them too "

baal may have had a tough start, but all it taught her is to have a sharp mind. she was inspired by lilith if anything, her manipulations were unclear till she made them clear. she respected someone who wasn't afraid of arguably the most feared goddess, sahara. she learned from her. she studied how fear can inspire. she learned to call upon lilith and through her, the rest of the death gods. mallory taught her how the demons worked, their weaknesses, how to control one.
she called upon desdemona and her call was answered. considered an angel, desdemona often called herself so, however with the information mallory gave, baal learned she was no more than a demon. a demon forced into work by the original gods. the angel of death.

able to control demons, she was considered by her fellow inhabitants the goddess of death. she was an anomaly, the komos who'd started the experiment had no belief of gods even as they dropped their species onto the first planet to graze the universe. the home world of gods. their fear of the unknown forced them to flee their experiment.
they began building their own society. baal craved the attention of her peers. she easily placed herself in the spot light. her demons were something they feared to much to fight. she never took a true name but the nicknames they gave often stuck. they rumored more than names though. they'd say "disobey her, your darkest fears are going to come for you.". demonic energy different from spiritual energy in one main way. a lost spirit wishes for their trouble to be resolved, but her demons were crazed for more demonic energy to feast on. two emotions allowed them to feed, fear and anger. what's easiest to give? fear. they'd quite literally, take the form and show you your darkest fears coming for the pour soul.

" i'm ready for the worst "

as time fades, we all do. as the society aged, she fell into more obscurity. only those aquatinted with the old lore knew who she was and how to summon her and the demons who followed. with a seemingly eternal life, she thought little of consequences and began living on the edge. she did anything and everything she could. she found home calls fun, something a little different each time.
to summon her the stories would say, at the darkest point in night hold a raven and utter the phrase 'i'm ready for the worst". it originated from the things most heavily associated with her. the night her soul was sold, the raven forms her demons often took, and the fact to expect the worst when calling on her for help.

i've been recently obsessed with this song, it's the newest single released by him and i'm a little obsessed tbh.
how it relates to the komo ;;
though there aren't any official lyrics to this song just yet (there never really are with this artist, haha) , i've deciphered that this song is about taking care of yourself and ignoring the hateful people around you, 'a little less hate, a little more sunshine'. and to just not care if other people around you are negative !

it's a little hard for most people to enjoy this genre of music, but i personally think this song is a good in-between of noise music and mainstream music so that it's more palatable for people. i think it is a beautiful, flowing song with lots of little intricacies that brings a strong mood to mind when I think of this character. it's a bit hard to explain, really?
