She is passionate about happiness.
Aurelia sees the world as something that desperately needs help. Her catchphrase is,
“I want to put a band-aid on every scraped knee.” She is full of empathy - for that dog who needs a bone, for that little boy that needs a mother, for that little girl that needs self-worth; she wants happiness, for everyone. You’ll often catch her at homeless shelters, donating all she can to charity, or buying ice-cream for little kids in the park. In her dreams she sees happy people devoid of physical pain or trauma with full bellies cooperating to make a joyful world. Despite the harsh reality that her dream is far, far away from coming true, she’ll do everything she can to at least try to make it true & is completely undeterred. Personality:
If you couldn’t already tell, Aurelia is a warm, kind hearted kalon. With her gentle yet hardworking nature, she is also determined and undeterred. She works hard for what she wants, but sometimes she asks for too much; she can be extremely idealistic and wanting to focus on the future she dreams of rather than work for the future that is inevitably coming. She is not sensitive, however; she can take things well and responds positively to criticism; the problem is, however, if your ideas don’t support hers, she won’t listen. (91 words)

Aurelia Finds Her Voice

In the fourth grade, Aurelia didn’t see herself as a very outgoing person.
She found herself sitting alone at recess, eating lunch with the fellow recluses, and in church she’d pray to herself in the corner.
Her mother worried for her; it wasn’t good, she decided, for a Kalon so young to be without friends.
“There’s a new girl just down the block from us. Why don’t you talk to her? I bet she’s awful lonely.” Her mother proposed.
Aurelia shrugged. “I like being alone,” she said. “And I don’t have much to talk about.”
“Oh, Auri,” her mother sighed. “Look at the way you’re writing that essay. What is that for, social studies?”
Auri nodded. Another trait unlike the rest of her classmates, she loved homework and the mental challenges it gave her. She loved being academically challenged - in fact, she was the smartest in her class.
“Well, look how fast you’re writing. Your mind is working so beautifully - you have so much ideas. Auri, you have a voice. And that voice, it’s going to help you go places.”
Auri looked up at her mother, blue eyes gleaming in wonder.
She wouldn’t know the effect of her mother’s words till much later in life.
There was a girl who loved parks.
She loved swings, slides, and monkey bars;
she loved ice cream, the sun, and tag;
but, there was a problem.
She was the new girl, and she had no one to play with.
On a particular Saturday morning, she was particularly lonely; because it had been a week, exactly, since she’d moved in, and she had felt smaller than ever.
“Hello?”
The lonely kalon turned, sitting on her swing, to see a small Kalon staring at her with wide blue eyes and a puffy purple tail. She began to grow excited; “Hello!” she called.
Aurelia shuffled her feet. “Why are you just sitting on a swing, instead of swinging on it?”
The Kalon smiled. “I’d like’ta swing with someone, but there isn’t nobody round. So I am just sittin’.”
Aurelia raised an eyebrow at the Kalon’s accent. “Where are you from?”
“Deep down en Texas,” the Kal replied. “I jus’ moved here.”
“Well, I can swing with you.” Aurelia shuffled her feet.
The Kalon smiled even larger, and Aurelia noticed some of her teeth were missing.
“Do you want to be friends?” Aurelia offered after a few minutes of swinging.
The Kalon smiled. “Alright! How about we meet here, in this park, every saturday?”
Aurelia nodded slowly, a smile crossing her face. A warm feeling was in her chest.
The two played for hours that saturday, and countless saturdays after that. Even when high school started, they didn’t stop. Every saturday morning they’d meet and swing, talk on the benches, and watch the children, eating ice cream and talking about their crushes - and their futures.
But it did stop one day, in sophmore year, when Aurelia’s best friend collapsed; and it was revealed she had brain cancer.
“Aurelia,” her friend had said. Devoid of hair, substance, and joy, her eyes were still bright; her smile was still wide. “I want to ask you something, before I go… I,”
She took in a deep breath.
“Keep our park clean. Okay? Don’t let nothin’ hurt it. No big people wanting to take it away to build a mall, or nothing! Never. That’s us, Elia. That’s our thing, forever.”
Aurelia protected that park.
And when she had saved it from demolition, smiling, looking up in the sky, thinking how proud her best friend would’ve been, she realized how much she loved the smiling faces of the children.
“Thank you, Aurelia!”
“Aurelia, you saved our park!”
“Aurelia, be my friend!”
“I love you, Aurelia!”
And so then Aurelia realized she wasn’t just satisfied with protecting her park. She wanted to protect every park.
She’d travel state by state, and help clean dirty rivers; volunteer in shelters; become known as one of the kindest people alive.
And all of it was worth it when people would thank her; all of it was worth it when she knew,

// A person I really like in the community is Tealea! I absolutely adore her art, and she’s such a genuine sweet + soft person! There’s a soft part of my heart for all the Kalons she makes, she just makes them all so stunning ;w; Right when I first joined CS, I made some crappy dog adopts off of her very popular base. It’s what made me excited about playing CS, and from there I found Kalons, so you could say she was what got me into them! To this day I love and admire everything she does.

(and chunks of logs) to carve lots of different objects.

тhe person that I’d like to commemorate in my form
is the user Tealea. Tealea is very well known, and for
good reason. They are very kind and patient, and are
extremely fair and caring- I also am very grateful for
their amazing editables that they graciously allowed
others to profit off of (that must be a hard decision,
it was their hard work and they let everybody use
the lines to benefit!). I appreciate their
perserverance- they have said that they go to a
full-time school and have a full-time job, but they
still take time to do things on Oekaki and otherwise
CS for others, such as customs and adopts, and I just
love their work overall. In all, I think Tealea deserves
a lot of respect and kindness back their way for all that
they have done for this wonderful community!

Kujai has always had a love for trees and the forest. What's not to love about trees!? You can climb them, harvest fruits and other foods from them, and build things with their wood! To Kujai, they were the most wonderful products of nature. Since his brother was usually busy with training, and his sister was normally playing by herself, he knew that he had to find something to entertain himself with. He decided that he'd like a secret hideout, like he sees in superhero movies. He asked his parents if he could have a hideout in the forest, and they said that they'd love him to be able to adventure and learn to live on his own. He was delighted at the news, and went sprinting into the wood. He took in the whole scene at once, amazed by the flora and fauna found in the forest, and by all of the different leaves. Why are there so many different leaves? He knew immediately that he wanted a better look at the forest from a higher viewpoint. He took a running jump and leaped up into a large oak tree, using the thick branches for support. His soft paws could hardly get a grip- but once he did, he climbed as far as he could until he got too scared to go higher. He gasped when he looked up and saw the amazing view- birds making their nests in tall branches, squirrels poking their heads into small cracks, deer skipping past small bushes, and so much more that he couldn't concentrate on everything that was going on. He smiled wide, and immediately knew that he needed to make his hideout in this very spot. He snapped two small branches off of the oak tree and held them in his mouth, carefully climbing back down towards solid ground. He placed the sticks on the ground in an 'x', marking the tree and his new favorite place. He raced back home, where Chase and Selene were chatting outside and drinking lemonade as the sun started to go slowly down. Chase asked Kujai how it was, and he described in nearly full detail what the forest was like from his perch. They were amazed at his new admiration for the forest, and Selene suggested something. She suggested that all three of them build a treehouse in that new perch- to which Kujai yelped in excitement. He said that he'd do it himself, and so Chase began helping him chop up some small trees and made planks. The building project took less than a month- Kujai's enthusiasm helped them through the entire process. Soon enough, Kujai had a treehouse complete with a small bedroom, living room, and a workshop. It was actually built on 2 different oak trees- one different tree next to the original. They're connected by small wooden rope ladders, and there is a small spiral staircase leading up to the main room (the Living Room). Kujai is very excited for the future and can't wait to see what will become of his new hideout.

Quite a while after Kujai had his treehouse built in the forest, he realized that he needed some decoration. All he had in the rooms was some crude furniture bought from a nearby store. He wondered how he could make his own furniture- and then realized that he could make it himself! He snuck a steak knife out of the house and found a leftover block of wood. He decided that he wanted to make a little bird to watch over him. So he climbed a tree in search for a reference. He saw a birds nest and found a bird in it, watching over its babies. He climbed back down, grabbed his wood and knife, and went back up to a good spot for watching the bird. He roughly carved the bird’s shape, and then went on to fine details- even the wings. It was a little crude, but it was pretty good for a first carving, he thought. The next morning he found some problem areas and made them look a bit more pleasing. He smiled at his work, bringing it home to his family. Soon enough his brother and sister were asking him to make things for them, and he was delighted. He carved a little crown for his father one day when he was seeming upset about something- and it cheered him right up. He also carved some training swords and such for his brother, and promised to keep his training a secret. He isn’t the closest with this siblings, but he loves them all and cares for them whenever they need it. He’s carved a few decorations for his home as well as his treehouse to add his own touch to it. He does have a bedroom in the house but he plans on using some of the furniture for his treehouse and then leaving the rest.
