What is your kalon's favorite food, and why?

Aodhfin was quite sure he would die for the apple and pear pies Grada sells down at the market. He quite desperately wishes to buy the recipe from her, if possible, but since he was determined to keep his cooking hobby a secret, it would be strange for him to ask. If only he had a partner or someone he could ‘ask on the behalf of’ for her recipe, but since he wasn’t currently courting or in a relationship with anyone…

Plus, it would be a weird reason for him to start asking for someone’s hand: “I love you, of course, and also can you get her recipes for me okay thanks”. No, he was quite sure anyone faced with that would reject him immediately.

But those pies were so aromatic, just smelling it gave you the desperate sense of dashing to her store to buy it. Maybe it was imbued with magic? Aodhfin had never heard of food-related magic before, but anything was possible. But oh the smell, the delicate balance between crunchy and soft…he stopped daydreaming to find himself already walking to her stall.

He really needed that recipe, if only to save himself the cost of buying pies every second day.

Day 12 - Tidus

As Tidus walked along the street, he took in all of the smells of the city. This was his . . . third time in Paris? He couldn't quite remember, all of the trips kind of blended together into one big amalgamation of sights. This one was special, though. He brought along his partner Bubba, and he aimed to show him the place that he went every time that he went to Paris. A small cafe in the corner of a large square was their destination, the scent of coffee and cheese wafting out of the open front door. He stepped in and pulled a chair out for Bubba and went to order for the both of them. When the returned, he set the two plates down on the table in front of them.
"A grilled cheese? All of Paris, the entire world, your favorite food is a grilled cheese?" Bubba smiled at Tidus, shaking his head in disbelief. Tidus smiled back at him.
"Just try it, you goof!" He replied, picking up his. The bread seemed to be two slices from a homemade loaf, perfectly browned in butter, and the cheese was gooey and stretched from the sandwich to the kalon's mouth. Bubba took a tentative bite and looked up and locked eyes with Tidus. Silently, he took another bite. They quickly finished their meal in silence and, after the last crumb was wiped away, stood to leave.
"So how did you like my favorite food?" Tidus smiled smugly and bumped Bubba lightly, who rolled his eyes and wrapped his hand around Tidus's as the walked down the street of the City of Love.

Prompt 12

Nala's favorite food is probably star fruit, those yellow and green little things. She first picked one out for family movie night, her dad would take them to the store and tell them that they each got to pick out one thing for their snacks. Meanwhile, Axel would grab more food related items like weenies, chips, celery and peanut butter, so on...
So passing through the fruit section she had originally wanted to grab strawberries, but she quickly distracted by the oddly shaped fruit with the most cliche name. Star fruit, because it had five points on it that looked like a child drawn star... It was fairly cheap, so she snatched two and brought them to her dad. Taking them home, half the fun was watching Axel cut them into little star shaped pieces, slicing right through them and dropping them in a bowl.
Another great thing was their amazing smell, fresh and crisp. It reminded her of sunny days, she was very happy she'd chosen it for her snack. They were soft yet crisp, a little bit like grapes but had both a sour and sweet tang to them. Being with her family only made her more fond of the food by memory alone. Nala buys it rarely, but she loves everything about it including the fact it's tropical as she hopes to someday move somewhere warm by the beach.

The pig was the last to arrive,
admitting that they had stopped to eat along the journey, and then taken a nap.
Pig's are good natured, and always willing to lend a hand for nothing in return.

What is your kalon's favorite food, and why?

Pip’s favourite food is pizza, specifically freshly home-made pizza that she and her friends make herself, this is because of how you can personalise the pizza and specifically how it can look like an art piece. Pip loves how colourful they become, starting with a plain canvas before adding colours of red, green and yellow and sometimes one can get really creative and go overboard- she has had some friends that have complained about how the pizza is a mass of indefinable ingredients.

Pip particularly likes to make pizza for her friends, taking into account looks, taste, colour and texture; giving each pizza its own personality that matchers her friends. She views it as a simple way to show what she thinks of them and how much she appreciates them. This passion probably started when she liked to draw her friends as a child and tried to make each drawing symbolise her friend but as she grew older and realised that her drawing skills she discovered her love for cooking which still allows her to present herself personally. In the future she hopes to open up a pizzeria to show her costumers her own interpretations and fun loving personality.

Ghastly favorite food is anything with sugar.
She also likes fish though.
They wont talk about it but this is a main food source of her original hometown.
Her clan are known for spun sugar and fishing.
The goods are shipped around the world.
However she only gets so much now.
So she eats too much of it.

Forager is strictly vegetarian.
So he eats mostly vegtables and berries.
He just doesnt like animal death plus it freaks piper out.
He never liked meat taste so he not missing much.
Forager gets picked on it sometimes but is set on his ways.

Eli Trystyn and Emily are stuck eating fish due to being on a ship.
The favorite foods are anything not fish.
Emily personally really likes when they can get cheese.
It goes quite good with fish.

Bear is a fan of berries.
When he lived on his own he found he liked the sweet taste.
However due the fact he was alone he eats anything.

but not just any blueberry muffins though, the ones their mom makes. they swear that willows blueberry muffins are the best they have ever tasted and will not settle for anything less.

Aiden’s favorite food isn’t very extravagant or complicated. His favorite food, by far, is pigs in a blanket. If you’re not familiar with the food, it’s a sausage wrapped in pastry dough and baked. He’s been making them on his own for ages since his Mom taught him, and he doesn’t remember a time when he wasn’t able to request one and have it within a few days. They’re his go-to comfort food, and are also easy to take on picnics and day trips, as well as make on a whim even when out of town. Regarding the food itself, Aiden much prefers savory over sweet, but the sausage and pastry is such a perfect combination of the two, he can never resist it. He’s happy to share his pigs in blankets, too. When at conventions with his gamer friends, he always insists they have them for at least one meal. He has been brought some by fans, which always makes him laugh. Aiden’s not sure how his admiration of Thebes food got so widespread, but it’s a known fact about him that he favors the sausage and pastry treat more than anything.
