What do they do at the crack of dawn? (500 words MAX.)
10 word personality:"I court death,sure- I'd say he's got great taste."
"Three Am sharp, we got two hours until dawn.”
the seemingly feathered figure decreed to his followers from upon a rooftop.
"Men, do not, kill."
he ordered his men. The heroic outlaws jumped off of the structure and onto the sturdy tops of the bank, Benny shot the lock to break in. He knew previously that the bank had very poor security, so gaining access to the vault of riches was easy. Everything in their plan was flawless, their plan was so airtight, the only way to mess up would be to parade through the front door.
"Woops"
Benny laughed jokingly opening the entrance to the front and starting the alarm system.
"These idiots really need to lock this door, funny they secure the top though."
Benny sprinted out of the building and got split up from his friends. Men of the law saw the courageous person dash out of the establishment and began a hot pursuit.
"These people just get dumber everyday.."
An officer said to his partner who is still eating his doughnut. The loud screeching sirens echoed through the whole town, but strangely.. the crook was smiling.. It appears the fugitive is confident somehow.. as if he had known this were to happen. Benny made a right turn into a dark alley way, yet the patrolmen were on his tail. He was cornered, an escape nowhere to be seen. The policemen drove their car into the alley where the felon hid.
"Attention all units.. the subject has disappeared.."
Benny managed to climb onto a platform, which was positioned far above where the fuzz thought him to be
"They haven’t changed .. still have years to go before I’m apprehended.”
he thought to himself,
”If they were serious about their job, maybe you’d still be with me, Ma.."
Benny remembers his mom calling the police when an armed lunatic broke into their home, but they weren’t fast enough. He lost the only guardian that he had left. Benny was never adopted, at 18 he was moved almost immediately from his orphanage to a homeless shelter.
"It’s dawn.. just in time.."
Benny dropped the two bags he was carrying and pulled out his pistol, aimed at the sky, and pulled the trigger. The thundering gunshot seemed to pierce beyond the clouds. The noise that normally would cause someone to feel alarmed but yet, its calming..
"Ah the signal! Boss made it out alive again!"
one of Benny’s men exclaimed. Today’s bounty was decidedly dealt out to Benny’s old shelter. “I’d like to make an anonymous donation,”
the gruff kal stated later that day.It was great pride that filled Benny after watching the transaction clear without a problem. Another fruitful morning.
"Hey boss, why do you always fire at dawn? Why not pull the heists at a wiser time?”
Benny merely sighed wistfully, remembering the sun-rays of a familiar beloved smile,
“Because I like to greet the sun, she gets lonely up there.”
