Day 10 Prompt (151)
Glendetta's best feature is long, thick, black hair, and the intense purple highlights woven here and there like webs, that falls almost to the floor. She very rarely ever trims it, and when she does, it grows back with fervour. It's always been a nightmare for her to brush, but it falls in the perfect way to frame her soft face, and it was always fun to use as a whip (though such instances were, to delicately put it, somewhat rare).

Her hair, while always a nuisance, was her crowning glory. When she was young, she would often bind it into a bun or braid, and leave it out of sight. But letting it dangle softly now, she decided, felt much better. Liberating even. Although, she'd always would have preferred neat and comely hair, sometimes a lass could do with a bit of unruliness in her mind and on her head.

Roosters enjoy the spotlight, and tend to be attractive and popular.

Kalons stash in signature

Seventy has some good features.
One is her very bright design.
I consider it unique because the neons look really good on her.
A downside is that this makes it hard to hunt.
So her best feature is the fact shes skilled with many weapons.
After all if she makes them she minus well learn to fight.
Seventy is quite good at what she does.
She taught herself to be so.

Forager best skill is knife throwing.
Hes good at hitting targets and makes a lot of money off the tricks he does.
Hes also really good at running and its really fast.
Its a backup plan if things go south for him and he needs to book it.
Also good to fight or flight because he works with dangerous animals.

Eli best skills is her limited knowledge of ships.
She can keep the ship going but don't ask her to name things.
Shes pretty smart and knows survival tricks when it gets bad.

If you asked Gypsum himself what his best feature was, he'd probably take quite a while to respond as he tries to pick out a feature that he feels he excels in. Perhaps his patience? Or maybe his understanding? Or, ironically, his Indesisiveness.

But if you asked the children that he teaches, his young students, they would all giggle and tell you that Gypsum's best asset are the horns upon his head. And Gypsum would be powerless to disagree. It is not because the horns symbolize any sort of power, or royalty, but because of just how much they mean to the children.

Gypsum is a mentor to a half dozen children, teaching them the ways of life similar to those ways that were taught to him. The flow of balance. But, as often happens, both mentor and students get distracted for a bit of fun, fun that always ends in one or two children suggesting they use Gypsum as a tree for decoration. The young man cannot count the number of yards of tinsel he's pulled from his head, and yet he would not trade in a single second of it. If he has to become a christmas tree for children to smile, then so be it. <3

Kimi

Kimi's best feature is not anything you can see. She doesn't have long flowing hair that charms others. She doesn't have striking markings that almost seam to glow. She's doesn't have striking eyes or a intricate shine that glows in the sun like a sapphire.
What she defines as her best feature isn't something you can see. It took her years to discover it and years more to realize the potential it had in her life. It a jewel found deep inside her like her own special secret. This feature that defines her is her mind.
Now she's doesn't mean her "brain". By this she means her special skills that serve her in such a way that she can evade the most difficult problems that heads her way.
Her intuativness to find new solutions to problems. Her patience to wait out the longest storms. Her courage to face life's furry and her passion to keep going. All of these she considers to be her favorite and most valuable feature which she wouldn't trade for all the beauty in the world. In her line of work beauty wouldn't help you last one day.

Day 10 - Roland + Chaos - Rooster

Chaos puffed out his chest, placing one clawed paw onto the puff of white fur that worked like a boa, looping around his neck. He peered down at Roland, his crimson eyes intense.

"My best trait?" He asked again, his tone musing. Roland knew he'd been waiting to hear this question for awhile. It was... typical of Chaos to take every opportunity to brag, and anyone who looked at the swagger in his walk could determine he was one of those people who couldn't get enough of himself. "Obviously my powers."

"Powers..." Roland muttered under his breath, "I guess that makes sense. You can do magic, can't you?"

Chaos beamed, "Of course I can. Though-- I guess my tails are a good runner up. Everything about me is just so attractive, how could I pick just one thing?" He laughed to himself and Roland stifled a sigh. He honestly should've seen this coming.

What is your kalon's best feature, and why do they consider it so?

Nora sat at the restaurant table as she waited for a specific individual to arrive. She was wearing a dark black wig with bangs that covered her eyes completely. A black dress was fitted tightly around her figure.

"So you're finally here, Dion."
"Hello Nora. I believe this is the first time meeting you in person?" Dion smiled as he looked at the menu. Nora nodded before looking down at her menu. There was a moment of silence before Dion coughed nervously, "so uh, I came here to discuss your order from my flower shop."
"mhmmmm?"
"I can't give you poisoned flowers unless you sign a safety contract." Dion pulled out a piece of paper. Nora knew exactly what it was, a binding contract. One that prevents her from causing mischief. You think you're so slick Dion. Just you wait.
"I'm afraid that I cannot do that. I don't sign contracts unless it's under specific conditions. Perhaps a little cash could do?" Nora slid a heavy stack of cash towards Dion. Dion furrowed his brows & bushed the cash back towards Nora, "Then I'm afraid that the order cannot go through."

Nora smiled mischievously. This was her favorite part, Nora was wearing a wig that covered her eyes for a reason. Swiftly, she brushed her bangs aside & stared cooly at Dion.

"You were rather quick to make a decision. Perhaps you'd like some time to think it over?" She looked at him with her milky white eyes. Eyes that allowed her to get what she wanted all her life. No one knew why her eyes were like that, she had no magical powers of course. & yet, they were so captivating & charming. Nora's eyes were her favorite feature. It was what defined her. Dion bit his lip & tried to look away, but he was lost in her eyes.

"Alright. Just this once. But under NO conditions must you tell anyone that the contract wasn't signed," Dion growled as he grabbed the stack of money & left in a hurry.

"Is your date coming back soon? Shall I come back later to take the order?" The waitress asked.
"No. I got stood up. Take my order instead," Nora replied as she leaned back in her chair.

Jay was quite sure loyalty was her failing. It was the reason she was removed from the Army in the first place, and she seemed to be most loyal to unreasonable kalons.

Loyalty used to be her best trait as well, being in an army that treasures integrity and order, and has such a strong hate towards deserters. She had considered her dedication to be stronger than anyone elses, and that it would be the only thing to pull her through when everyone else fails. She would go over the top for the person or group she was loyal too, willing to do anything to show her worth and her deserving of this position. Yet it turned out, in the end, that she was more loyal to him than the Army, and because of this great feature of hers, she had agreed to cover up for his actions.

Great good that did her, now considered traitor of the Army and banished from her home country. She felt like she could never trust anyone ever again, and in fact, she was determined to never feel loyalty towards others. She shut away her naïve self, and did her best to become a new kalon.

Yet, not two weeks later, she found herself trusting the most ridiculous kalons once again, despite the hurt loyalty and trust had brought her. And surprised, she found that she did not mind feeling loyal to others, as after all, loyalty was her best trait.
