Was it sad to say your best friend was someone completely useless like Tybalt, when you’re a trader who has many friends and acquaintances? Like of all the kalons he could have picked, he had somehow chose Tybalt to be on the ‘best friend’ status.
They first met for trade purposes, since his mother, Alivia, was in the trading business herself. Well, she mainly dealt in stocks around the world, but she was a trader nonetheless. She, as a noble, had no problems with money, but she said it gave her mind something to consider. Sera had been invited to their home to discuss business, and Tybalt, probably on seeing how similar in age they were, had struck up conversation. They hit off immediately, quite likely because both of them, due to their job or status, rarely spoke on friendly terms with other people around their age. And things went onwards from there, until now, standing here listening to Tybalt and his never-ending stream of chatter. Sera couldn’t help but wonder how things would be like if he hadn’t opened up to him in that first meeting.

I was a young high school student, low on money for school materials. "You wanna rob the museum?" a dark blue kalon asked me one day. I didn't tell him my money problems but immediately agreed. We introduced ourselves after we managed to run. We're still inseparable.

Allariia's 'best friend' hardly knows she likes him as much as she does. Nico is kind of a nervous wreck while Ali herself is quite level headed and confident regardless of the choice she's making. She doesn't quite understand his worries for the future and fear of the unknown, but she's always willing to be there to calm him down. He's quite entertaining if nothing else!
Nico tends to be frantic, shy and fearful towards strange things; which Allariia surrounds herself with. But she's quite patient with him, sells him things to help his anxiety and tried to get him into gardening since it tends to be therapeutic. He fears of killing plants, so she's always casing charms on them or giving ones that are naturally difficult to kill. Being cold and closed off naturally, Nico brings out the best in Allariia and she was prepared to show more of it when she finally had kits of her own.
He taught her to be more nurturing, aware and light hearted while she showed him not every dark corner harbored a monster. Life would end someday no matter what he did and living in fear is no way to go on.

Day 08: The Sheep

Who is your kalon's best friend, and why?
Floor and Valwhan

Floors best friend was Valwhan and Valwhans best friend was Floor. They were a bit of an odd duo. Floor was very passionate about his studying and flowers and would work hours on end to perfect his essays, falling asleep sometime in the early hours in the morning at his desk with his head in a textbook. Val, however, was done with school and had been for a while, but not only in the sense that he was finished but that he had no energy for it. He lived in the moment and did not want to spend his days indoors, a kalon all for adventure and some more questinable decisions and pranks.

Despite all their differances they fitted well together, in the way only two kalons who know each other very well can be. Floor had always had a problem with talking too much, even if no one was listening he could go on forever which was one of the only things he ever got in trouble with. Val, unlike most, did not mind. He found it kind of comforting to listen to the voice of his friend, most oftenly, talking about flora in one way or another. It had become a bit of a routine between them. In the evenings Floor would go through everything new or interesting he'd learnt that day and Val would listen, ask questions and add in his own thoughts. He ended up knowing nearly as much as his friend about the coursework.

Valwhan, on his part, took out his friend on adventures, on trips and sweet talked him into helping him do a prank or get into restricted areas. When the workload got too heavy for Floor and he was risking running himself to the bone his best friend would be there and force him out of the house and whisk him away on explorations. They went to museums, to gardens, to amusement parks and sometimes they were just strolling through town, thinking and talking about happy things. Then, when they got back, all their hardships did not feel so hard anymore.

They were different, but that's what makes them go so well together. They bring out the best in each other and makes the other venture out of their comfort zone. That's not to say all is always well, they butt heads and get into conflict but at the end of the day they make up and come together. Because after all, that's what best friends are.

Genji could only smile softly as he watched the children play with one another. He thought back to so many years ago, when he himself was as reckless as his children. When he had not a care in the world, living on the edge of danger, on cheap thrills and adrenaline.

Genji turns to Zenyatta, trying to remember when that all changed, when he settled and began to accept the teachings of the monk. Of the man that would grow to be a great friend to him. His best friend. A man that would take on the care of one of his own children.

Genji owed so much to Zenyatta. His life had really changed with the influence of the teacher. Zenyatta had helped him to reach a level of tranquility in his life that, had anyone told him about a decade ago, he would have scoffed at.

The ninja smiled at the children, and then to his mentor. "Perhaps, master, they could learn a few pages of your book."

she glanced down at mac, who was easily catching onto the lessons given on gardening. although he was hesitant at admitting his love for it, rouzhi still taught him and kept it a secret. luckily his sister and the other boy scouts didn't tease him for this -- a hobby like gardening was normal and this was a new, accepting age.

rou raised her head when she heard a shout and little footsteps running towards her, meeting an eager gaze. "look, mama! i found a snake," shengkai enthused and held out a wiggly reptile to the woman.

the mother laughed lightly and shook her head, pointing back at where the girl had come from. "put that back, dear. don't hurt it!"

kai nodded determinedly and went back into the trees, calling back, "i won't hurt it! i know what i'm doing."

"she can be a handful, can't she?" a deep voice asked, and rouzhi's heart fluttered when a hand rested on her shoulder.

"she is, but she's our handful," she murmured softly to the love of her life and her best friend as he settled down next to her.

Who is your kalon's best friend, and why?

Pip’s best friend is rather serious, if only to keep Pip from being to wild and adventures. There is a large amount of trust between the two friends is obvious to anyone who looks at them, Pip trusts her fiends judgement to tell her when to stop before going overboard and her friend respects that trust by never pushing Pip unnecessarily. they know each other so well that sometimes words need to be spoken, only a simple action like smile or even a glance and it would seem like a whole conversation occurred.

Pip and her friend have known each other for the entire lives, even being born on the same day, where their mothers became friends, and it because of they that they can read each other so well. When Pip is angry or annoyed and they get into a fight Pip will not say sorry out loud, instead letting her actions speak and her friend knows this and will say something softly and understand, although it may take a few days.

They met kind of on accident, but it was an accident orchestrated by luck. Max Oliver, better known as Momo to most, was hired by a TV show to guide a group of inexperienced models along a trail to their photoshoot location. Most of the girls hadn't hiked in ages, but Nicolette was a very active person. She impressed Momo with her willingness to push herself, but also made him laugh when she had her very diva model moments. They stayed in contact afterward, having made a connection.

They went on more adventures together as the months passed. Momo brought Nicolette to his favorite trails and places, taking as many Instagram pictures of her as she wanted. Nicolette brought Momo to her shows and parties, often spoiling him by shopping for him despite his half-hearted protests. Honestly, Momo loved her style and he felt loved when she put thought into what he would look good and feel good in.

Eventually the two were honest with each other and decided to call their relationship romantic, but nothing much changed. The two were meant for each other, they just had so much fun showing each other new things and learning together. Nicolette had thought the falling in love with your best friend trope was cliché, but when it happened to her, she loved it.

Seventy’s best friends are Ghastly and Rhyse.
Ghastly was a kalon talking to Seventy through her mirror.
She got found out and banished to Seventy’s world.
Rhyse was found through a roomate ad.
He kept the house clean and cooked so he could stay.
Seventy’s treasures them both though her actions speak louder than her words.
Shes not so good with emotions.

Forager isnt very trusting of other kalons so his best friend is Piper his mouse.
His parents abandoned him at a young age so he needs to be safe.
Who better than to trust but one who couldnt speak?
Piper whould never turn on him so he would keep it that way.
One trusting relationship is better than many risky ones.

Emilys best friends are fish and the ocean.
Both calm her down very much.
She doesn’t really consider the other crewmembers Eli and Trystyn friends.
They are more like coworkers.
Its for the best for in her mind they would see her as a strange one.
