Favorite Flower?: Ghost Orchid - epipogium aphyllum/dendrophylax lindenii

Reason: the ghost orchid was presumed to be extinct many years ago, but one turned up after 20 years of believing this. the flower is quite rare in a sense that it does not have any leaves, and does not use photosynthesis to get food like other flowers and plants. this rare flower relies on another plant for its survival, and without it, it cannot live. it needs a special fungus to provide it life and support and sustain it to keep it living. these pale flowers can live underground for many years and are found in cuba and florida in forests. they emit a very pretty, but potent fragrance from june to august. they are named due to the way they grow on the cypress trees in cuba, and appear to be floating like ghosts, as well as their very pale coloring.
