story: Wanaiha was the last pony off the rescue load. Originally, most of these ponies would be re-homed but as if by fate I stumbled upon this small pony. She had been pushed to the back by most of the other ponies and I led her in. As she left off the dark trailer she looked around and snorted. I don't know if I our story would of turned out the same way if she hadn't been on the back of that truck, since i would of had to hurry to lead the rest of the ponies. But exhausted from all the hauling of frantic ponies, this gorgeous mare was really a breath of fresh air. She didn't tug or spook at every other blade of grass. She was merely enjoying the scenery so I decided to graze her. I took a few minutes to cool off and I could really take in her gracefulness. My brain did a bit of wandering and I realized I was looking for a project pony. Something about her stuck with me and I filled out an adoption form. I was accepted and am now blessed with a small pony.
