Hi I just found these and was wondering how it works. I just apply to adop some on their pages by doing art or naming them or whatever it asks and if I win them I get to make a thread and keep them?

If you want a kalon you own to be your kalsona,
you need permission from the artist, and if it is not first gen, you must get permission from the owner of the parents.

If the kalon is not first gen or 2nd gen, so like, an outcome after multiple breedings,
Would I have to go up the family line asking all owner of the kalon's 'ancestors'?
Or do I just have to ask the artist and the direct parents' owners?

Yep, you can send a trade that's a mix of C$ and pets!
Just send the trade to the staff member that accepts what the trade primarily has (so if it's mostly C$, send it to myself or Eun, and if it mostly has pets, to Wicced or Medd.)

Yes, we define a nonowner as an individual who does not at current time own any Kalons. ^^

To adopt a Kalon simply click on one of the adoptables on the front page and see if the competition is open. In the main post there will be details about the contest and how to win. Each contest is different and each artist will judge based on different things, which will usually be detailed in the contest guidelines. Most contests involve filling out a form and with the form with the best idea, art, or writing is picked as the winner. It all depends on the specific adopt! If you're unsure of what to do with your forms, you can take a look at some finished competitions and see what the winning forms look like to get ideas.

Runner Ups (RUs) are sometimes awarded, as well as Honorable Mentions (HMs) which can be collected and redeemed for custom adopts. In the main post of this thread, under the header image, there is a directory of links to the various Kalon threads such as the Fanclub, Nursery, and Customs thread. I suggest taking a look at the Fanclub to see what everyone is up to! I hope you find something you like and I wish you luck in winning an adopt. You are always free to message myself or another member of staff with any questions you may have. c:

Just bumping this up, as I’m curious as well. Not to rush or anything, I’m just excited to see the outcome of the design and was wondering if there was something going on to cause a delay?

As all 100s are a collaboration, the user who volunteered to do the design has had difficulties in real life that has led to the delay of the release. However, they are now able to work on it so we can get it out to you all! <3
