[Event Info & Rule Updates]
most of these won't take effect until March 1st.
any that take effect before then will be listed with the date they take effect.
Event Info
- The Event begins with 2 legendaries. Each day after one of our departments will release their staff viscets.
- Unlike last year, this year the staff had the same 3 colors for the beginning of the palette, and the other two colors vary per each department.
- At the end of the adopt releases will begin the item releases which will be posted by various members of staff who have volunteered to help out with this. The item releases vary and there will be a couple new items here and there.
Rule Updates
- Every user can win up to 2 event adopts per event. This rule goes into effect immediately as of the start of this event.
- the previous rule was each user can only win 1.
- this update means you can win up to 2 event adopts in the same event month.
- this update doesn't effect your legendary allowance which is 1 per calendar year.
the following rules take effect on March 1st, 2018

these will only be available until March 7th, 2018.
[New Mutations & Their Rarities]
These mutations are not yet available for MYOs or Batches.
These will become available for main and pps adopts, batches and MYOs on March 1st, 2018.
Uncommon
Owl "ears"
- owl "ears" are an ear variant that is in the same mother trait "ear variation". this trait replaces the ears entirely and removes the ear to replace it with a small visible ear hole surrounded by horned owl like tufts that emulate ears. since this trait is under the ear variant trait, it has to be specified when using potions or asking for it for myos. e.g.; "I want a penn diagram x3 for ear variant (or ear mutation): owl ears."
Tail Spikes
- tail spikes are the last missing part to the spikes set trait. while spikes can vary in size (small, long, etc) the area in which the spikes occupy cannot. for medium-ish sized spikes as what are displayed during this event there are a total of 7 spikes on the tail. for smaller spikes there may need to be more and for larger there may need to be less but the space occupied by the trait needs to be roughly the same size.
Tail Feathered Tufts
- tail feathered tufts are the last missing part to the feathered tuft set trait. the tail feathers are located on the top of the base of the tail and will be added to the pre-made lines in March. this set like tufts and drapes are rarely altered even for myos and when altered they cannot pass down with their unique look but only in the same pre-made lineart on our lines currently.
Rare
Alligator Teeth
- alligator teeth, or gator teeth for short, are a tooth mutation that change the normal structure of the teeth. this makes the teeth more like that of an alligator, with several teeth visibly down in a row. there are eight teeth visible on the line art for these. obviously when the mouth is opened there may be more teeth present but this is what the lineart will display for this edit.
Boar Tusk
- boar tusk is a tooth mutation that alters the normal teeth structure by a smaller amount. this adds two large tusks to either side of the mouth. these tusks need to be roughly the size displayed on the lineart and cannot have extra shapes or tusks to them.
Crocodile Teeth
- crocodile teeth, or croc teeth for short, are a tooth mutation that change the normal structure of the teeth. this makes the teeth more like that of a crocodiles, with several teeth up and several teeth down in a row, alternating. there are eleven teeth visible on the line art for these, following the pattern of 2 down, 3 up, 3 down and 3 up. obviously when the mouth is opened there may be more teeth present but this is what the lineart will display for this edit.
Horizontal Pupil
- horizontal pupil which can be called several things such as goat pupil, or similar is a eye mutation that effects only the pupil. similar to slit eyes it changes the shape of the pupil but rather than shaping it into a vertical slit, this one shapes it into a rectangular shape in a horizontal position. these may vary a little when draw by each individual, but should be draw distinctive enough to ensure it cannot be mistaken.
Roaming (event rare)
Saber Fangs
- saber fangs are a roaming trait tooth mutation that also alters the normal structure of the teeth. this adds two large fangs to the front of the mouth. the length of the fangs is important to note as they cannot extend further down than where they are currently displayed. these fangs universally are roughly the same size whenever they are applied to a viscet. being that this a roaming trait and not a normal rare trait, the only way to obtain one is through an event that releases it or by purchasing a roaming trait potion(nursery/hatchery) or add-on item (myo).
