quiet. wise. graceful, elegant. a real proper lady. she's probably the mum friend. she kind of speaks to me as a humble and generous fae, but does have an end to her patience. somebody who'll help you but call you out on your wrong doings.

♡ layla grew up with her father in a cottage by the sea. their abode was filled to the brim with old antiques and relics, along with their findings from the sea's shore.
♡ her mother wasn't around for her childhood. she had taken off to the city.
♡ she didn't care though- her father made every second of her childhood life a dream.
♡ they would go hunting for shells along the wet sand and go swimming in the early mornings till the cool air of dusk whipped at their tails. the pair would dive into rock pools and try to scavenge for little critters. good times.
♡ as she got older her passion for the ocean and its shore never left. it only grew stronger with each passing day. she sometimes sits on the beach for hours, watching the sunlight dwindle behind the horizon.

♡ in memory of her late father, every morning when she wakes up she places a shell in the morning tide and watches it float away. she feels as though that's what he'd want- a new shell for his collection to brighten up his day wherever he is.

♡ she went to a public school a few minutes away from their cottage- she was routinely late for every single class. she was too busy dipping her toes into the cool sand, her teachers would whisper.

♡ she loves to cook! sometimes she'll call around some old high school buddies and they'll have a big cook up. it helps bring a warm atmosphere to the small home.

♡ she has an axolotl named sushi and a turtle named irwin (5 bucks to whoever knows who's last name that is!) and loves them very dearly! she spoils them too much.

♡ sometimes she'll walk with her best friend willow along the beach and they'll collect shiny things off the shore. they don't remember when they started doing it, but they assume it's been years.

♡ she loves pastel colours so much that she even tried to paint the walls to her room a soft lilac once. it didn't work out well. she's not very artistic.

Dalia absolutely, positively loves her plants. She mostly favours the rose, as it is her favorite plant, though she loves other plants, such as cactuses, daisies, sunflowers, and other plant life in general. "The vibrant colors in which flowers can portray is just gorgeous."
Dalia also makes sure to take care of her two cats, Lilly and Lotus, they're two white cats which came from the same litter and Dalia just absolutely adores the two. They are two munchkin Persians that like to sit in the sun all day.

Though Dalia dislikes arrogant or rude kalons very much so.

Dalia has always been a plant lover, ever since her first small plant that she owned, a small rose which was almost dead, as it's petals were falling and turning a brown color, nobody thought it would come back, but with care and affection, Dalia had brought it back to life. The rose has now become a beautiful, large rose bush, climbing up the wall of her old, castle-looking house on the edge of a Cliffside, plants everywhere. She loves to explore the forest and take hikes while taking nice photos, or picking nice arrangement of flowers for her house. Dalia also enjoys giving flowers to other kalons. She hopes to brighten up their day this way. Dalia owns multiple businesses as a entrepreneur, of which include; a flower shop, a bakery[they specialize in flower designs] and of course, a photo gallery as to which she takes the photos herself.

Though Dalia may seem to be a quiet, shy, damsel, she actually has quite the funny favorite thing to do. Since she lives so close to the ocean, she loves to go to the scuba diving area and go swim with the sharks. She has an odd love for them and really enjoys watching them. She finds them interesting and loves the fact that they live the mysterious ocean. She mostly likes nurse sharks and the 'calmer' of the sharks as they seem less dangerous. Dalia loves the colors of the ocean, the water, coral, fish and other things that live in the ocean with the bright and gorgeous colors. The shining scales when they swim.
Dalia loves that she lives so close to the ocean as she can go swimming with her friends and hang out in the forest with them as well.

Plants decorate her house, the sunlight always out, considering she lives near the ocean in a tropic area. The forest lush and green and beautiful. Occasionally, it rains, though Dalia enjoys the rain and goes to frolic in it!
