name; Sauron
gender; Male
personality; (minimum of 100 words, maximum of 350 words) Sauron is quite a lovable little squirt. He's rather energetic, almost as if he were always hyped up on candy (and there are rumors that that's practically all he eats, though he has never corroborated them). Sauron likes to show his love for others using physical affection, so if he's close to some viscet, he'll probably be seen slinging his arms around their shoulders and giving them a hug, or kissing them on the cheeks, or holding their paws...maybe even snuggling up with them under the blankets as they watch a movie. There's nothing romantic in it for Sauron - it's just how he shows his love and appreciation for others. Sauron is aromantic, meaning that he feels no romantic attraction to others. He hasn't figured out his sexuality yet, but he's thinking it's somewhere on the ace-spectrum. He'd rather have a group of close-knit friends that he could just call up and chill with every week rather than be distracted by romance or relationships, so he's grateful he doesn't feel the attraction that apparently most other viscets feel. Sauron is a rather active dude, and only becomes lethargic if he's extremely sad or upset, which isn't very often. He always tries to look on the brighter side of things, and see the glass as half-full instead of half-empty. His sugary appearance and home decor match his personality perfectly. While Sauron is not happy one hundred percent of the time, he does do his best to try to see the sunshine and rainbows instead of the storm clouds that roll on through his life every so often. He'd much rather be made fun of or picked on for being too happy than to waste away in the shadows, hiding who he really is inside just to fit into some stupid in-crowd. Sauron is unapologetically himself, and wears his heart on his sleeve. If he's upset, you'll know it... but likewise, if he's happy, you'll also know it. He says everything with a smile and a pride-filled tilt of his head, and he won't change, no matter what anybody tells him.

prompt: tell me something about them! (minimum of 200 words, maximum of 800 words) Sauron is TOTALLY into pastels and rainbows. He adores stuffed animals and just loves to snuggle up under fuzzy blankets. Sauron really loves snuggly, cuddly, cutesy things. He is highly interested in fuzzy mittens and socks and scarves, as he's always cold and shivering. He can never seem to get warm, so he's always bundled up under something. Sauron also likes brushing his long tail-fur. He enjoys tugging the tangles out of his sometimes-slightly-matted fur...though he might just complain loudly or squeal every time he snags a knot with his comb or brush. Sauron's obsession with pastels, rainbows, stuffed animals, and all things cute and cuddly would be what some call a problem. His house is full of adorable cuteness, with anime posters on the walls and wing-back chairs overflowing with cuddly critters he's adopted over the years. Once his grandmother found out he loved the stuffed creatures, she has made it her life's purpose to send him at least five every year - and that's not including the boxes she sends him for Christmas and other holidays! Sauron has painted each room of his house a different shade of pastel. The living room is pink, all of the small closets and cupboards are blue, the kitchen is yellow, the bathroom is green, and the garage is purple. His bedroom is a rainbow of colors, with stripes of paint dripping down the walls haphazardly. He painted his room very liberally with the different shades of pastels, watching as the paint dripped down the walls in funky twisted shapes. He decided that instead of painting over the weirdness that occurred, he'd just keep it as it was so as to instill some originality into his personal space. Because of his own personal horn, he also has a thing for unicorns. Sauron holds the record for the most unicorn plushies owned in the tri-state area. He alone holds the title proudly, displaying all range of unicorns throughout his house. From the puffy floral couch and wing-back chairs in his living room to the daisy-colored shelves in his bathroom, Sauron's entire house is stocked to bursting with soft, cuddly unicorns of all shapes, sizes, and colors. His favorite unicorn is one he got as a child from his mother - she is white with a swirling, sparkling mane and matching tail; she has stars embedded into both her mane and her tail that stick up with jagged edges and rough outlines; she has a pointy horn with gold and silver streaks in it; she has a soft pink nose; she has glittering turquoise eyes; her hooves are made from a shiny, golden fabric; she has a moon-shaped necklace that glows-in-the-dark; and on her chest is emblazoned a flaming heart symbol. Her name is Sally, and Sauron treasures her above everything else in his pastel-filled house. She is as nontraditional as they come, in terms of unicorns, what with her odd coloring and accessories that were originally included with her. Sauron never lets her out of his sight, and often will carry her around in a specially-made bag custom-made for her that he ordered from a close friend. The bag is waterproof and flame-resistant, and Sauron paid quite a pretty penny for that thing... but he loves Sally enough to do that for her, as he will always treasure his first stuffed unicorn.

extra 1; (maximum of 500 words) "I'm Sauron. Pleased to meet you." The viscet tilted his head as he smiled.
Calcifer just stared blankly at him. "What are you on, dude? Can I get some of it?"
Sauron frowned. "What?"
"What did you EAT, man?! You smell like cotton candy!"
Sauron chuckled. "You want some candy?" He rummaged around in his scarf and pulled out three wrapped candies, brightly shining in the streetlamp's light. "These are differently flavored. Blue's peppermint, green is spearmint, and red is cinnamon."
"Cinnamon, please," Calcifer said with a smirk, swiping the candy from the other viscet's paws. "Name's Calcifer. So, how often you come 'round these parts, Sauron?" He popped the candy into his mouth.
Sauron shrugged and looked up at the sky. The night was drawing in quickly, the navy blackness engulfing most of the blue left from daylight. "I come out here every night. I love things that sparkle. The stars always catch my eye."
Calcifer snorted as he nearly choked on the candy. "What? I thought for sure you'd say something about the food!"
Sauron frowned and glanced over at the brown viscet. "What do you mean?"
"You LOVE candy, right?"
"Yeah..."
"Well, there's a chocolate shop on this street, not to mention three streets down there's a butterscotch, toffee, and taffy place."
Sauron wrinkled his nose. "I hate taffy."
"What about the chocolate?"
He shrugged. "It's okay. I like other sweet things better." With a sly glance over, he smirked knowingly. "And you must like eggs, right? You eat at the diner over there?"
Calcifer spit out the candy before he choked on it again. "WHAT? How did you know-" He suddenly smacked himself in the face. "My messenger bag, right?"
Sauron chuckled as he nodded. "Yeah. The breakfast emblem on that sort of gave you away."
Calcifer shook his head and laughed along with his new pal. "So, where do you live?"
"Not far from here. You?"
"Opposite direction," he said, pointing with his tail.
"What are you doing out here so late at night?"
Calcifer shrugged. "Suppose I like to get away from it all, sometimes. Sure, I'm snarky and rude to those who dislike me and treat me badly, but... I'm not evil, y'know?"
Sauron nodded. "I think others need to withhold judgement a little better. Viscets nowadays are far too judgmental. They think me some goofy little kid because of my interests, and that's not at all right. I work. I have a job and a steady income. I'm happy all the time, sure, but... that's because I choose to be."
Calcifer nodded. "I know exactly what you mean. Viscets don't tend to like me much, either."
Sauron glanced over at his new companion. "What me to walk you home? It's rather dark out here."
Calcifer smiled. "Sure, if you can keep up with those little legs of yours."
Sauron shoved against Calcifer's shoulder playfully. "Deal."
