Feloris [fe·lore·es] are large, sturdy carnivores with very thick fur. If they are
tamed, they can be be very caring and loving. Otherwise, they're ruthless and are
assailants. The Feloris we have here at this adoption center are tamed though, don't worry.
They still have the instincts of a wild Feloris though (similar to felines). Because of this, they
must be given chew toys to keep them busy.

But.. How did they get that scar on their forearm? It seems the fur can't grow back...

On the tundra world that the Feloris formerly roamed, Albus was a pack leader. A pack of his closest kin, a poor young pup
from his former mate, and an older daughter, a juvenile too young to find her mate. The pack's mother was an unfortunate
victim of the planet's turn for the worse, having starved to death a few months prior to the scarring event to come. Albus
took on the sole responsibility of caretaker for his familial pack, doting on the young pup while his daughter assisted in the
hunts. The routine was instinctual, and for a short time was a stable plan. While traveling for better hunting grounds, as
prey had become painfully scarce on the blistering cold world, Albus and his pack had intruded onto another's territory. The
territory of a desperate, despicable specimen of a Feloris. The enemy traced the unknowing intruders for days before it
came across them at night. Starved and crazed, it lept upon the young pup, hoping to make off with an easy meal, but no
predator or prior territorial spat could have prepared it for the raging onslaught of the overprotective Albus and his other
packmate. The battle was short and brutal- to say the assailant was ripped to shreds would be to sugarcoat the outcome-
but it left Albus with deep wounds that raked across his forelegs. If it weren't for the intervention of humans that took him
and his family off the dying planet, the fearless pack leader would've likely succumb to infection that settled in the gashes.
