Silverkit went into a hunting crouch with her tail perfectly still. “I think we need to keep our tails straight so our prey won’t hear us hunting.” She mewed.

Smokepaw waited with Twistedpaw outside the Warrior den. “How did it go?” She asked as she sat with her tail curled up on her front paws.

Mousekit stayed quiet and continued to feel annoyed that they had gone to Dawnclan. She never left her brothers side, wondering what he thought of this mess.

Blazeshadow had gone to pay her family a visit after hunting. She had brought a rabbit for them. She made sure not to stay long, just in case she was needed for anything. She was amused to see her siblings training. “It’s good for them to know the basics before becoming an apprentice.” She purred, smiling.

Lightpaw was still in shock. Wolfstar joined StarClan? Sure she hadn’t really known the leader that well, but it didn’t make it easier to get over the loss. She stayed quiet. Was it because of the flood? Or had he been sick?

"Yeah, let's go see how much of those rumors is true." Crowstrike agreed, his ears pricking as soon as they emerged into the forest. He liked to stay alert even inside their own territory. It was one of the things he had learned while he was a lonerand hadn't been able to shake since. It seemed like yesterday that he was fighting for survival after he had been separated from his mother in a fox attack. Crowstrike wasn't sure long he would have lasted if the clan hadn't taken him in. Maybe he would have grown into a hostile rogue, living somewhere alone, but that was a big maybe. Dying was a much more probable outcome. Shaking his head, Crowstrike focused back on the present, pushing the thoughts of his past to the back of his mind.

Rowanflame

Rowanflame listened as Bayclaw spoke of the group of cats that had assembled near their border. Considering that rogues and loners were not likely to form such groups, especially not right next to the territory of a clan, and the fact that many warriors were unaccounted for after being exiled from Duskclan for disobeying the rules, Rowanflame had his own suspicions about who these mysterious new neighbors were.

Echosong

Echosong stirred, waking up from a peaceful, dreamless sleep. The sounds of camp reached her even in the back of the warrior's den and she knew it was about time to get up and get some work done. She stretched her muscles and shook out her fur before cleaning it thoroughly to get out any remaining pieces of moss that had gotten stuck in her pelt while she slept. When she was all done, Echosong padded out of the den and looked around. She spotted Hawkeye sitting not far away from the fresh-kill pile and decided to go talk to him. Walking over, she said with a smile, "Good morning."

Briareyes shook her head,"Squirrelkit and her sister will be looking down from Starclan, they'll be so proud of their brothers." She smiled to herself, for a moment of silence and returned her attention toward Ivypaw and the kittens,"New leaf is always such a bright season, even Stormkit and Silverkit are playing with the older kits and Ivypaw they're in such great spirits." Her tone had returned to it's normal mostly cheery song-likeness, a warm soft purr radiating from the queen as she watched everyone have fun.

Volekit listened to Silverkit's idea and nodded,"I guess that makes sense!" He got back onto his paws and attempted the crouch again, this time mimicking the pose mostly correctly, though he seemed to be trying a little too hard still so his figure was rigid from concentration.

Timberheart lead the way out of camp, ignoring Raggedpaw's cross look as he left. His steps were confident, like he knew each part of the forest by heart, even the twigs weren't in his path. His posture relaxed as they left the busy parts of the territory and continued on their way. It wouldn't take long for Rosethorn to spot the meeting place of their ancestors.

Nothing could be heard apart from the distinct sound of guinea fowl clicking somewhere in the distance. As he padde don he whirled around as he heard a fern rustle. The lush green vegetation was hard to get around. But the sound didn’t come from around. It came from under.Rabbit Mountainstripe thought. Without hesitation he pounced into the leaves.Feeling the warmth of the rabbit’s fur under his paws, he bit blindly.

A warm light peeked in through the overhead leaves of the trees. Gingerface has been prowling by the side of the river looking for anything that might Ben useful to get a stick out of her paw pad.A sharp rock? She clenched the rock between her jaws as she perched herself delicately on top of a slippery rock. She pressed the rock to the bottom of her pad gently. She flicked the rock upwards to try to unlatch the stick from her pad.This ended fast. As she flicked the rock up, she lost balance of her grip to the rock she sat on and tumbled roughly into the stream.Gingerface squealed as she made contact with the icy cold water.Gingerface plunged headfirst into the stream. She lifted her head and spat out the water. She coughed as she climbed out of the stream. Her fur cling to her body and made her lock extremely thin.

Bayclaw nodded and pushed forward, She was honestly hoping it was true because if it was thats where all her missing clanmates were. And that would be better than the alternative.. She glanced around, she didn't scent anything fresh but she couldn't be too careful. "I think we're alone for now." she said glancing at the other two warrior's as she approached the border. Someone had been here recently at least.. It sure smelt like a group was across the border.

I was hoping at the very least we could possibly become friends eventually." she said. That would make it work wouldn't it? That was what many of these were, weren't they? Embergaze didn't know a lot about love, every time she thought she did she got it wrong. But what she assumed was that most mates were just good friends. That seemed to be the nature of the clan at least to her.

Darkgaze padded out of the warrior's den his yellow gaze moving past Frostpetal for a moment and a look of sympathy crossed his face before he looked away. He understood heartache well. Though it may be in a slightly different way. Darkgaze had, had two cats now that he'd loved and lost. Which seemed to be the reason he never spoke to his assigned mate or anyone really in a more romantic sense.

Swiftleap wrapped his tail around her "I'm sure they're looking down on us right now. I bet they're with my sister having a wonderful time." he said softly. He glanced back at his sons quietly. It was hard to think about how they'd lost both their daughters. It was an ache that never truly went away. It wasn't something he'd ever wish on anyone else. He flicked his ears and smiled slightly "Stormkit and Silverkit will be apprentices soon before we know it too." he said. "Most of the kits are about that age now or very close to it. We're going to have our paws full here with all these apprentices." he said chuckling lightly.

Hawktalon snorted slightly as Briarheart joined them though he couldn't mask the happiness that shone in his eyes when she came over. They'd seemingly lost everything and put the pieces back together and it drew him to her more and more every day. He was especially greatful Acornkit seemed to take to her too.

She knew Rosethorn wasn't there at the moment but it stuck out in camp as a constant reminder of their leader.
