Welcome to the LWD Christmas Event!!

During this event, you will be able to collect event tokens through the adopts.
These tokens will have the possibility of being converted into rare traits, breeding tickets, MYOs, or the currency system which is still under construction. You may retain your event tokens for as long as you want and they will not expire, I just thought it would make a good temporary currency to hand out at this event.

TIERS FOR TOKENS

- Collect 1 token for posting a form. (max 1 per adopt)
- Collect 1 token for prettying forms (max 1 per adopt)
- Collect 1 token for filling out form to completion. (max 1 per adopt)
- Collect 2 tokens for every referral to the species. (unlimited; person you refer must pm me with your name to qualify for points.)
- Collect 3 tokens for each piece of entry art. (limited to art max per adopt)
- Collect 2 tokens for every 200 words of writing. (limited to word max per adopt.)

story: Swirrl was born in an olden timey town, she was always irregular. All of the others in her town had brown or black coats. But she hat bright pinks and pretty blues in her coat. She was seen as special and an embodiment of a goddess.

When she came into being, the sky wept for seven days and seven nights, and the colour of the world turned to grey gloom. It was said that the very colours of the ice and snow were taken to dye her magnificent fur the vibrant blue she wore, but people argued whether the red burnt streaks were the sun seeping into the horizon or the blood of men lost to the tundras.

It was a lovely fairytale, she mused to herself.

The camp hummed with voices as they sang the story of her coming. The fire dipped as the voices rose higher, melding together in a song that sent prickles down to her very bone. She curled atop the ice hill, fur melding perfectly into the background and listened to the tale of her supposed birth. The story was a half truth at best, but it still gave her a pang of pride and satisfaction as they sang her praises.

She felt a presence beside her. She did not turn her head.

“They are safe. Begone.” She felt a small spark of guilt for speaking harshly towards the spirit- the spirit once belonged to the human she had so dearly beloved. Long gone. Long dead. But still lingering, a mere wisp of what had been. And it was no longer her Celia.

She caught a glimpse of the spirit from the corner of her eye, a lingering breath with wide hollow eyes. She knew if she turned around, it would be gone and she would be disappointed once again. She turned around anyways. And true to form, the spirit scattered in the wind.

Celia. She had taken the human’s name after her death, but it was hard to remember through the long days and longer nights. It was hard to remember who she was. The one human that had been deemed worthy by her.

Celia left the fruits and fish she had brought for the people of the tribe below her and left, silent as the snow.
