It had been a moon now since the flood had ripped through DuskClan seemingly taking with it many of their cats. Anyone who'd disappeared had just been assumed dead. Bayclaw had mourned for her clanmates but she'd started to have a more positive outlook on life in recent time. Having been reunited with one of her beloved sisters she'd made a complete turn around and seemed much more happier and stable. Currently she sat outside of the warrior's den with Brighteyes quietly waiting for patrols to be made, kits to be apprenticed, anything.

Brighteyes laid beside Bayclaw watching the clan slowly wake up, her paws itched to do something. She'd been trying her best to make up for lost time with her clan. Always helping out as best she could.

Embergaze slipped into camp her amber eyes taking in all the sights of the camp quietly. She'd gotten lost in the flood, separated from the clan and had finally made her way back to her beloved clan. She'd been nervous about coming back, though she couldn't put her paw on the real reason as to why that was. She glanced around silently wondering where Frostpetal was and if anyone else could have possibly missed her.

Frostpetal tried to perk up slightly, not wanting to get caught moping by another warrior "Mornin Shadowstrike." she replied. She then shook her head "No patrols yet, you haven't missed much. I think everyones sleeping in today to be honest with you." she said chuckling slightly. "I can't blame them.. We've been pretty busy." she said.
Ravenwind

Ravenwind looked away from Brackenfall the sound of Cranespirit pulling him out of his thoughts. He offered her a small smile "Thank you." he replied dipping his head. "I'm sorry about your friend Nighthawk." he replied frowning slightly. He curled his tail around his paws and looked over at Brackenfall as he spoke.

Brackenfall looked up, trying to give Cranespirit his signature friendly grin but failing slightly "It's.. alright." he said. "Er.. I'm sure she's.. just lost is all." he said before he shook his head. "i bet Nighthawk is too.. Just.. lost." he frowned before he looked at her "How are you today Cranespirit?" he asked.

Darkgaze padded out of the warrior's den his yellow gaze moving past Frostpetal for a moment and a look of sympathy crossed his face before he looked away. He understood heartache well. Though it may be in a slightly different way. Darkgaze had, had two cats now that he'd loved and lost. Which seemed to be the reason he never spoke to his assigned mate or anyone really in a more romantic sense.

Swiftleap chuckled slightly and looked over at their kits before he looked at her again "It has been.. But I think the camp is coming together nicely.. Newleaf is in full swing.. Things are looking up right now." he said before he nuzzled her cheek. "It'll be nice to relax for once don't you think?"
Hawktalon

Hawktalon padded in after his brother, though he hadn't made it to the nursery before his only remaining kit came running out. He wrapped his tail around Acornkit and dropped the vole in front of her. Her mother had left them both and left a scar on his heart. But more importantly she'd done something she could never take back to Acornkit.

Riverbriar had never felt such relief in her entire life "I thought you hadn't made it!" she said. "We got separated and I couldn't find you anywhere.. I found Brackenfall.. And we found the clan but then.. Then you didn't show up and I thought I had lost you." she shook her head "I can't believe you're okay! You are okay aren't you? Were you hurt??" she asked looking him up and down.

Stormyskies sat up and stretched "I think I overslept honestly." he said yawning slightly. "How long have you been awake? Did I miss anything? Did we get called for any patrols?" he asked before he scratched his ear his yellow eyes never once leaving her.

Willowsong glanced over at her older sister Riverbriar as she slipped out of the warrior's den. The young warrior immediately looked around rather excited and hoping to catch a glimpse of Treetail this morning. Maybe they'd even be put on patrol together! Her heart raced slightly and she tried not to look like some fool smiling to herself.

Paleflame huffed loudly when his littermate left without him, looking over at his older sister he caught her glance for a moment before he looked away. Stretching slightly he looked around for Swallowfeather. Well if Willowsong was going to run off to find Treetail this early he could go find Swallowfeather!

Spottedpaw ducked her head embarrassed at the compliment and gave him a small shy smile "I sure hope it's something nice." she said before she straightened up "Something nice.." she shook her head "I'm just more excited to be a warrior and finally get to that goal. I feel like i've waited forever." she said.

Treekit snorted and took a bite of the squirrel "Volekit and Treepaw." he teased pawing at his brother playfully. He glanced over at their parents then looked back at Volekit he was more concerned with playing than really paying attention to anything else at that moment.

Acornkit sat beside her father quickly eating the vole he'd brought her. Not a care in her little world. She didn't fully understand her mother leaving though maybe that was for the best.

Shadowstep dragged himself out of the warrior's den blinking slowly against the harsh morning light. His ears twitched, should he head out hunting? It was a warm newleaf day, Snowpetal would be hungry soon wouldn't she? She deserved something fresh didn't she?

Mistyfalls laid in the nursery her long fluffy tail curled around her two newly adopted kits. Mistyfalls had always wanted to be a mother and had been quick to jump at the opportunity to take in the orphaned kits when they were found. She hadn't left their sides for a moment since they'd come to her.

Bearshadow eventually woke up, blinking slowly at the harsh light of the morning. He sighed and covered his face with his paws, why was it so bright in the morning??

Rainysplash frowned, glancing around before she looked at him again lowering her voice "You've got to come back to Wolfstar's den.. He's.. He's requesting you Copperfang." she frowned "He's. He's not getting better. So we should go now." she said firmly. There was a hint of sadness in her eyes, though she hadn't gotten to know Wolfstar until she joined DawnClan he was still her uncle and her leader. And it still broke her heart to see him go.
