wasn't really a great year for me, but i guess something good that came out of it was me being more confident in my identity? i wouldn't say i'm 100% sure about the longevity of the labels i currently use for myself, but i feel content with the accuracy to which they describe me right now and i'm open to the idea of changing them later down the road if i happen to realize something new about myself. not a very big thing nor has it had much of an impact on the actual quality of the year for me, but i feel good when i think about it so i guess "that's what's important" and all that jazz.
also two more kind of silly things that were good; i did win my first kalon - albeit in a very simple readopt - and it did make me feel really happy in the moment + i'm enjoying developing her character and the world she's in. i also got some ratchet & clank merchandise for christmas and those games mean the world to me so now having some non-game stuff that i can enjoy while i'm too tired/busy to actually play them is really nice.

Share something that made you happy/was good about this year!;; This year I got a new banjo from my grandpa! I have a band and I was the banjo-player and in the middle of September I had my banjo's strings broken and couldn't play in the band till I got a new one. So I had a long hiatus from my band practice, but finally joined them again when I opened a wrapped box containing a new banjo inside! I am completely grateful for my new banjo, not only to be back with my band but to continue to play the banjo for my family!

I just wanted to thank her for always dealing with my socially awkward self, and she is overall a great friend (as well as my other online friends). I just wanted to compliment on kacchan, being a great friend who has to deal with me all the time, and a noice kazoo kid.

for Christmas I got a ukulele - ive been begging asking my parents for one since the start of summer. its not the ukulele I really wanted, but I still love it omg - im currently learning ride by twenty one pilots im gonna be the next tyler joseph just you wait

Share something that made you happy/was good about this year!;; I don't know if I can say this as per CS rules but I have graduated from high school! Although I can't go to university because I don't have enough points to, I have at least somewhere to go to continue studying what I want to. This year I also did some extra schooling with a course suited to what I want to do, something with animals! I liked that because you got to actually be with animals and I loved being with the cats and greyhounds. :3

Share something that made you happy/was good about this year!;; I was able to travel on my own for the first time! I was extremely nervous and just the thought of taking off in the plane without my family made me nauseous as I am a very clingy person. Although when I landed I was reunited with my cousins and aunt and I felt so happy and that I had accomplished something. I was so proud of myself! I also met some very cool people on here and I am very thankful for them all <3
Something else being that I was able to share my improved art on this website! I joined in 2010, and stopped playing in 2012...I don't quite remember why. I'm so glad I'm back though, sharing my art and seeing the comments people send me really make me happy and warm inside. I'm glad people enjoy my art as much as I enjoy making it!

Bonus First off, I wanna thank scarlet_wolf, for making my time back on chickensmoothie memorable and fun! Thank you for putting up with my rambling, commissioning me, talking to me almost everyday since you first messaged me and overall being an amazing person. And thank you for introducing me to the Kalon community. And I also want to thank Aboveaspen as we have also met this year but they've also helped me so much by being by my side and pushing me through my rough spots so I am able to continue to improve my art and health for myself and people around me!! Lastly, Kingkaigy! I met you mid 2017 through a friend and didn't expect to see you on here as well!! I want to thank you for talking to me and helping me come up with characters and new ideas. And thank you for making me 2017 a memorable one! Hope to continue taking to you all in 2018.

Share something that made you happy/was good about this year!;; this year i learned the virtue of loving myself, and finding joy and happiness firstly in things i enjoy! i will always love being around others and making others happy, but 2017 has also been a year of learning to love myself, which is a gift to myself that i will always treasure.
