Kanae (mom):

Kanae is a bit stuck up, over confident and conceited. However that's just her outside character, she's actually really kind, she just gets embarrassed about it because it's not really in her character. her goal is to be the best at everything which is pretty childish but she pretty serious about it. "if your gonna dream you might as well dream big." Kanae loves her children and Cyril with all her heart, her family are the only ones she shows her true character to. Sometimes her outside character comes out and she can get quite competitive.

Cyril (dad):
Cyril shy and tends to keep to himself in public, but is outgoing around people he's close with. He has a love for nature, especially the forest. He has learned to easily hide his feelings, but is internally very emotional, in both good and bad ways.

Lyra (older sister):
Lyra is a energenic, funny and cute girl. She loves seeing others smile, and loves to sing. She wants to become a famous pop idol and tries her hardest to accomplish her dream. She takes lessons from Hikari, he's very experienced since he's been in show business for awhile but he's a huge flirt. Hikari is a family friend and was friends with her mom and dad back in high school. She can be an air head and a bit clumsy but overall she's very kind. She puts others before herself, though she can act childish much like her mother, the two get along very well and love going shopping with each other.

Doku (litter brother):
Doku is a shy and antisocial boy. He keeps to himself and doesn't talk much. Others often bully him because he's so weak and timid. Although Doku isn't physically strong, he's very intelligent and skilled in hacking. Doku only opens up to his family, when he's around only them he's extremely childish and loves being the center of attention. This is probably because of his lack in socializing, and causes him to need attention from at least his family. He loves his family and cherishes them very much.

"Mom, if you're gonna be that way to others how can you expect to be taken seriously?"

Hyoga loves her mother, and her family jokingly refers to her as being a lot like her mother except a different colour scheme.
However, they're not alike regarding their personalities and views. Kanae's actions and fake personality annoy Hyoga, and she does get her reasoning that she's just following her dreams, however Hyoga sees no real need for Kanae to even do that, and even when it accidentally comes out when doing family stuff, she will back away from the situation, as she prefers the mom she grew up with,
not pretending to be something she's not but staying true to her values and her beliefs.

However she's very close to Kanae, often following on with her ideas to try something new under the pretense of 'I'm only doing this because you'll probably blow something up', however she respects what her mom thinks and loves her for that, always wishing to have her inner fire.

Cyril and Hyoga are more often than not paired up or something similar familywise, so it's not surprising that whilst Hyoga is close to her mom, she's closer to her dad, and she's more recognised as his daughter than her mom's. Hyoga is aware that her dad does have feelings in there somewhere, but doesn't really say anything about it, because that's a lot like her situation: Hide your feelings to shield others from your inner storm, even though Hyoga's not actually sure what her storm holds.

She enjoys going out with her dad to go and appreciate nature, and whenever she's with her dad, her rose seems less like something dreadful but more like something that would look nice amongst a field of flowers.

Hyoga's input is often overshadowed by Lyra's bubbliness and her overbearing presence, however she doesn't really mind because if she doesn't have to speak, she's totally fine with not having to be heavily relied on as the key child. However Lyra often asks for her help, and Hyoga always agrees because after learning from experience that Lyra won't get off her case if she doesn't help her 'poor big sister' out, begging and pleading, but she's totally going to get Lyra repay the favours she owes her.

However she really does love her sister and looks up to her, often helping her out with her pop-star related stuff and being her unofficial second vocal coach. The two are a lot closer than it seems from the outside, because often Lyra's dragging Hyoga around the mall, shopping, however Lyra respects her ways and is attuned to what she likes to buy. Lyra often cuddles Hyoga when sad and vice versa, and when Hyoga was younger she'd always hide behind Lyra rather than her parents, so even though they're not as sweet to each other as they seem, they both really care for each other.

Being her little brother, Hyoga's often seen lingering around or by his side whenever possible, she knows that he's all clingy and happy whenever he's with family, but the fact he's all wimpy when outside often annoys her, just like her mom's habits, Hyoga is often left alone with him if the younger kids and the parents wish to do anything, and it often ends up with Doku crying into her sleeve over something and her grumbling back an insult, and even though after a small while he calms down and is happy to do whatever within reason, Hyoga sometimes wishes he'd just take a good look at the world around him and try and just spread his wings.

Hyoga's looks are scarier than her brother's to most, and if he ever gets ridiculed she's there most of the time to stare at the offender and resolve anything, even if it's just from a quiet glare. She's often the one he cries on, spills his rants onto, hangs out with, the one he wakes up if he has a nightmares and the one he learned his hacking skills from. Doku's annoying to her sometimes, making fun of her gloomy disposition and making her do the chores he should, and she often never talks to him for days. However Hyoga is quite fond of her brother, and out of everybody within the family Hyoga and Doku are the closest siblings.

Hyoga may be the second eldest, however she takes no real pride in it as she never uses the fact she's the elder of her litter to her advantage, but it doesn't mean she doesn't care for her siblings. Hyoga is cold and quiet, often wearing oversized hoodies and jeans, mostly in dark blues and blacks, and her face remains quite neutral.

Hyoga's parents are bright and light, much like her siblings, however Hyoga is aware of how much her dark colouration alienates her from the rest of her family, and even though she knows it's nothing she should be ashamed about, it still hurts when other don't recognise her as one of the children at first. Ironically, she grew up following the stereotypes surrounding her colours, staying to the sidelines and being called the grumpy big sis forced to intervene only when forced to. Her eye is what connects her the most to her siblings as everyone only has one actual eye, however her own singular peeper give off a more ominous feel, even more than Doku's, and she knows her eye glows, and what hurts her even more is that she looks at the missing eye replacement she has daily, which was replaced by a dark purple rose. Hyoga knows purple and black can both be considered colours related to pride and evil. Her long flowing midnight blue hair is often left flowing free, which only adds to her annoyance because people get frightened from that as well, because she looks like one of those ghoulish girls from Japanese horror animes.

This also contributes to her patterns of speech. Hyoga isn't well known for saying many words of overjoyed, love filled praise, instead often spouting out monosyllabic answers if the question doesn't require further explanation, and any praise comes out in short, clipped sentences. Insults and snipes do come out somewhat more frequently, however she will never use the words to protect herself, and if anyone dares to hurt her siblings or anyone she cares about, her voice will rise, and her words will have so much more feeling behind them as she growls out ugly words, shielding her sibling/loved one behind her.

Hyoga, however takes the role of older sister very seriously, and even though she grumbles whenever she's forced to do something for her younger brothers and sisters, she in all honesty doesn't mind too much (even the little doll tea parties), and is often the one holding the little one's hands. Her siblings may call her the grumpy meanie, but they don't ever mean to be truly mean.

Her secret skill lies with technology... Anything. It doesn't even matter if it's old or new, she could probably figure it out within 10 minutes, and has definitely bypassed multiple blockages and hacked her way into virtual currency, all without leaving a single trace. She's made her own game by herself, and it's a small success. She also enjoys studying about reptiles, fascinated with them,
and even owns a small milk snake because of it.
