Why? Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge tolkien nerd, so anytime I can find a way to use elvish in my tolter names I will take. Also what better name for a christmas tolter than that that translates to fruit-gift.

First Christmas
Yavanna's first christmas was a rather eventful one as she was nearly a yearling when it happened due to her being born outside of the regular breeding season.
Being the oldest of the Ironwood foals she was the most troublesome as she was nearly a teenager by human standards once christmas time came around. With this juvenile deliquent behaviour she was a nightmare for the staff to deal with, as christmas is a rather busy time here at Ironwood.
We have sleigh rides going from midday to around 3 am, sometimes later if the northern lights stay out and lots of couples love to come and stay in our cabins during the winter season, and the only way to get them through all that snow is the horses. So needless to say there is a definite lack of supervision during the Christmas season at Ironwood.
