kalon name: Olivienne/Olive
favorite food memory: Olive has always loved helping people out, even when she was really young. She would always go out of her way to help people in need. Even if it was just helping them carry something like books. One thing she's always wanted to do though is help out the homeless, and about a month ago, she finally did! She went out and gave food to as many homeless kalons as she could find. She also wrote a few journal entries before and after handing out all the food:
Journal Entry [11/05/17]
Today I've gathered enough food to help out homeless kalons! It took me quite a while since I don't have much money myself but my family and friends were generous enough to help out and give me money/food. I will be heading out tommorrow with different types of canned and boxed foods to give out and maybe even a plate of sandwiches for multiple families!
Journal Entry [11/06/17]
Giving out the food was a success! We went all around the area and managed to give away all of the food we saved. It was so nice seeing all of the cheerful faces! I'm really glad we could help out and give to families in need.
extras: 2 art pieces coming soon !!

kalon name: Honey
favorite food memory: Honey's favorite food is pie of any kind. Her great, great, great gran had a secret recipe for the best apple pie, and that recipe has been passed down to Honey's mother. At every special occasion when the family gets together, everybody who has been given the apple pie recipe bakes it in a sort of bake off. Honey's favorite memory is the year she won.
extras: I’m in the Hufflepuff house and this kalon would hopefully be my first! Good luck to everyone.

Kalon Name: Huffle
Favorite food memory:
"Huffle?" his mother called, "Where are you? We're going out to a fast food place, come on!" Huffle rolled his eyes and went back to reading the giant cookbook he had borrowed from one of his friends. He was reading it behind the clothes in his closet, where his parents wouldn't see him, so they couldn't take him to eat low quality food. He wanted better. Huffle found the recipe that he had prepared for. "Soon!" he thought. All he had to do was hope that his parents left the house. "Well, I bet if Huffle wanted FOOD, he would come!" his mother called out in hopes of finding him. After 15 more minutes, his parents decided that it was ok to leave him but, "It isn't our fault if you starve or if someone kidnaps you!" "Kidnapping probably would be better than living here," Huffle decided gloomily. As soon as he heard his parents leave he set to work as quick as he could for spaghetti. Huffle was interrupted by the garage door. His parents had come back! He quickly shoved his stuff into an empty cabinet and he hid in the fridge, which lacked much as well. His dad came in and picked up his medicine for aiding him in the digestion of lactose. "Can't leave without this!" he exclaimed. His father then departed to the fast food restaurant. Huffle came out the fridge shivering a little. He took back out his supplies. First, he boiled the water and slid the long sticks of noodle into the bowl. He stirred it a little and then set the microwave to make his meatballs unfreeze. While the meatballs were warming up, Huffle heated the sauce, stirring it and the noodles at the same time. Finally, the meatballs were done. He plopped them into the sauce, which he took off the stove. He then took the noodles off the stove. Huffle plated the noodles then scooped the sauce and meatballs onto them. He grabbed parmesan cheese and sprinkled a little on the spaghetti. "Done!" he smiled. He cleaned up while he waited for the meal to dry and then began to eat it. Just in the middle of that his parents came home. He didn't hear them because he was enjoying the spaghetti too much. "What is this?!" he heard his mother screech. "I made it because I didn't want to--" he tried to explain. "Made it?! You've never cooked in your life! I bet you just guilt tripped Ms. Huela into feeding you!" she growled at her son. "I ACTUALLY MADE IT!" he yelled at his mother. "LIAR! YOU ARE GROUNDED!" his mom said. "Grounded from what?!" he thought. It wasn't like they let Huffle do anything fun anyways. "You know what?! I quit!" he decided, dashing through the front door and running away from home. He walked as far as he possibly could to the farthest orphanage he knew of. He began to cook for the grateful kids and cooks there. When he was older, he became an esteemed chef and taught others how to cook. Huffle never forgot what lead him to his career. A home-made bowl of spaghetti and meatballs.

I'm a Hufflepuff myself and obsessed with this one, don't have a single Kalon yet and I hope I can get this one.

:kalon name:Samuel Travis
:favorite food memory:"It's raining pretty hard, are you sure you wanna go sweetheart?" His mother said, looking over as Samuel threw on his favorite scarf and picked up a pink box, neatly wrapped in a royal purple ribbon with a bow on top. His golden eyes looked up to meet his mothers, smiling brightly.
"Don't worry mom, it's hardly a mile to the Willow's house, I'll be fine!" He replied, gripping the bottom of the box and holding it against his chest. "Besides, Orca would never forgive if I don't show and I really wanna see her big surprise." Clearly too excited, his mother let out a defeated sigh and nodded. There was no stopping a Travis when they had their mind set.

"Alright, but please be careful." Kissing her son on the head, she crosses her arms and frowns to herself as he walks out the door. Samuel however wasn't afraid of anything, especially not water! Afraid to drop the box, he walked down the dirt path towards the swamp where Orca lived already fearful he would be late. Rain soaked his fur not ten minutes after starting his walk and he could hear thunder in the distance. It was a storm for sure, but he didn't mind one bit.
Passing under the old oak trees, he heard another loud crash of thunder that shook his bones and nearly made him fall over. Another loud crack followed, the young kalon looking up to see a branch right above him. Letting out a shriek of fear, it struck him on the back as he ducked down and knocked him over. The pink box went bouncing out of his arms and down the hill. Hardly able to clear his now buzzing head, Samuel rolled painfully over and pushed the branch off his side with a grunt. It took him a moment to gather his thoughts and sit up, realizing he's lost the box!
Frantic, his head darted around looking for the bright pink wrapping that was tumbling down the hill. His heart leapt out of his chest into his throat when he saw it heading towards the crick. Too big for a stream, too small for a river, they called it the crick... Whatever you wanted to call the running water, it made a good sized splash as the box tumbled into it's depths. Samuel felt more scared for the pink box than his own safety as he jumped into the water after it.
His scarf soaked up the water like a sponge as he paddled along the surface, wrapping his jaws around the corner of the box as he got close and started pulling it towards the edge again. The muddy water and rushing current made it hard to see where he was going and it felt like an eternity until his paws finally scratched the edge of the crick and he was able to fumble the box into his front paws and heave them both on shore.
Panting, he looked around noticing he'd been drug a decent ways downstream and was close to where Orca and her family lived. With a sigh of relief, he shakes himself of and picks up the muddy, now slightly dented and very soaked pink box. Reaching their wood cabin like home, he knocked on the door and was greeted by Mr. Willows. Her eyes were wide looking at the young kalon, opening her mouth to say something when Orca came up behind her.
"What happened!?" Sounding very distressed, he explained the situation as they walked inside and set the box on the table.
"I'm really sorry, it was supposed to be special..." Samuel mutters as Orca begins to unwrap the box. Inside was a mess of frosting, white cake and strawberries. Samuel and his mother had baked it together for Orca's birthday party, but now it was a big mess and probably wet too. However, Orca didn't look upset at all.
"This is perfect! You know that trick I wanted to show you?" She says enthusiastically, pulling the box close and holding a bracelet into view. At least he thought it was a bracelet before she dropped it around the horn on her head. "Ok ok... Lets see." Closing her eyes, she lifts her paws up above the box and takes a deep breath. Like magic, Samuel saw the cake twitch and piece slowly back together. The strawberries floated up, the cake pieces back together forming it's cake shape and the frosting settled itself all around.
His mouth was gaping open as the strawberries floated down and landed in the little swirls of icing. It looked perfect, untouched, completely the same as last night when he and his mother finished baking it. "How did you do that..!?" He blurted out, unable to believe his eyes. Ms. Willows lifted the cake out of the box and started to line the candles, eighteen candles striped purple and black.
"I'm eighteen, I was given my first charm today and it repairs broken things. I haven't tried it out until now, and it works perfectly." Orca says with a smile. Samuel's favorite memory from when he was young, baking a beautiful cake for his best friend, ruining it, and watching time twist before his eyes to fix it. He'll never forget the first time he saw real magic at work on something he made and enjoyed eating with the Willows later that night.:extras:
