adding onto the halo question - would halos possibly be able to hold things ? like flowers ? it wouldn’t be part of the halo, it’s just solid so things can sit on it

I have a question about halos as well. I have been told by staff that halos, in order to classify as rare, must be one piece so as not to classify as multiple halos. Also, it cannot be made of flowers/leaves/plants if rare. But this batch seemingly breaks both of these rules. There are several flowers and leaves floating around the kalons’ heads and horns, but it is only classified as one rare halo. Shouldn’t it be considered legendary?

    1. say a kalon has a halo. would that halo have to stay in place and not rotate? or would halos be able to rotate?

    2. what are the limitations on halo shapes? I know they cant have moving/living objects or whatnot, as that is a legendary trait, correct? May a halo be in a simple shape? say a star or even a trail of fish?

    3. if a kalon had things floating around them, not necessarily a halo, but simply floating stars around them for example. What rarity is that?
^^ adding on, if these were a trait (i think rare or legendary) would they be able to make a sound when moving? like a ding or a bell?

Halos are generally stationary, halos may take on shapes like stars/flowers/etc. but not be made out of the actual things (i.e. the flowers cannot wilt, drop petals, do anything flower related as they're meant to be light), and as for the last question independent floating stars would be a magical ability of sorts like light manipulation or if you want them to be sometime tangible it would be a different sort of power. c:

      EDIT: Amending the first answer as I see there has been Kalons with rotating halos in the past. So long as the Halo stays in one place, rotating would be alright as far as a Rare Halo goes. ^^;

As halos are just light they cannot be a solid force, therefore unable to hold anything up without assistance.

As stated above "halos may take on shapes like stars/flowers/etc. but not be made out of the actual things (i.e. the flowers cannot wilt, drop petals, do anything flower related as they're meant to be light)" otherwise that's legendary. As for halos with 'pieces' the general rule is that they should be on the same plane, like in a circle. You asked previously about a wing halo which I know I for one took as meaning two separate wings not as one whole to form a halo-like entity. However if you'd like to provide an image of what you were thinking exactly for such a halo, as it may have been misinterpreted, we could work from there.

Just so everyone knows, we have been working on guidelines for all traits, it's just a big project so it takes a little time.
But hopefully all confusion about certain edits will be cleared up with a helpful guide. c:

We're also developing a Growth guide to help users with taking their Kalons from kit to adult lines!

There's a lot of things being worked on and hopefully they'll be available for you soon.

Hello! Sort of strangely specific question here.

Suppose you breed two Kalons.
Kalon A has longer fur, a common trait
Kalon B has shorter fur, an uncommon trait

The kits are lucky and manage to roll for both of these traits. How would that kit display both longer and shorter fur at the same time?

- bonus add-on. The longer and shorter fur sections on the parents were both on the chest.

Short or long fur can be displayed in a multiple of places such as the chest, arms, neck, and the like so long as the style of it is in resemblance of the parents. For instance an artist could show the long fur down the chest and then use the short fur edit on the legs. c:

Ah cool! I thought it might have to be in the same location and was getting a tad confused on the ideas of a future breeding I have planned. Thank you for your quick response and the example as well! <3
