herefavorite love story and why :
Antony and CleopatraParvati loves this story for one main reason: the theme. "Love kills" has a strong meaning to Parvati, especially based on her past and the stories she's heard from others. Antony and Cleopatra, to put it simply, is a wild story. After the death of Julius Caesar, Cleopatra had her eyes on Mark Antony, a Roman General. Antony abused his power after they got married and appointed Cleopatra as ruler of several areas, including Egypt, which made Antony a traitor to his people. Cleopatra spread rumors of her death during war which lead her husband killing himself. This ended with Cleopatra doing the same. What makes Parvati love this story so much is how the two took their own lives, only so that they could be together in the afterlife. This story not only has meaning to her, but it makes her think of how far love can go. This especially makes her think of who her future lover may be, and what journeys love may take them on. She loves to discuss deeply about this with her siblings, and brings it up constantly with Hera, who has no problem engaging in an hour long conversation about it.
personality :
despite being dubbed the goddess of power and love, Parvati holds very little power. To say it bluntly, she's all for the romance and love- not the power struggle. Parvati is much more than romantic than meets the eye, and can be very charming beyond her position. She is extremely sweet, and often tries her best to keep it that way. Her sweetness very much has to do with her tender upbringing, which she gets from her foster-mom, Amber. Parvati wants to be close to her friends and siblings, but is often fighting back the urge to hold her own boundaries and personal space between others. Nevertheless, Parvati is also a very honest kid, and will own up to her faults even if it costs her. Before she was fostered along with her siblings, Parvati was a 'mommies child.' The name didn't faze her however- she always loved being near her mother, and it ached her when she lost her. When Amber and Jade came into Parvati and her siblings lives, it was almost like a dream come true. To be cared for by two very motherly felines filled the hole in her heart.
her relationship with her family :
Amber : Parvati instantly clicked with Amber. She's one of the best mothers Parvati could have, and she admires Amber's calm, assured personality. Parvati almost always wonders how Amber and Jade came to be. Without them, she wouldn't have known what she would have done. Parvati also enjoys chatting with Amber, as she can easily slide into a conversation with her and feel right at home. That certainly says something too- Parvati never has been good with strangers, so she prefers to avoid awkward situations by hanging out with her siblings instead, and in this case, Amber as well.
Jade : Parvati isn't very attached to Jade surprisingly, and wholly prefers Amber. She doesn't tell anyone because she fears she'll offend Jade, and she feels as if she'll regret saying it in the future. The thing about Jade that Parvati dislikes is her wild and free nature, whilst Parvati prefers a calm, peaceful life. Parvati still looks up to Jade as if she was a role model, for all the time she cared about her and loved her. Nevertheless, Parvati still enjoys going on mini trips with her, as well as striking up some small talk if it makes Jade happy.
Hera : Hera has to be Parvatis favorite sibling since they both have so much in common with each other. They both are into sappy romance movies, and lovey-dovey things in general. Despite how their names have similar meanings, it's a coincidence they've clicked so well. Parvati is glad she has someone to chat to about what she loves most, so they're both always hanging out together when Parvati can find the time. She can talk to Hera for hours non-stop, and enjoys her company and personality.
Eros : Oh, Eros. Parvati is keen to avoid Eros, and boy does she! Eros is a huge troublemaker and a giant ball of mischief. Anyone who dares mess with him has it coming. Parvati has never understood Eros, and has disliked him since he started developing his mischievous nature. He's a nuisance alright, and Parvati is always tempted to snitch on him or fight back for all the trouble he causes. However, Parvati knows better, and wouldn't dare harm her own sibling, even if that certain sibling has plucked her last nerve!
Aphrodite : Parvati is never really sure what to think of Aphrodite. "Do I like her? Do I hate her?" is what he would always think. Parvati struggles to interact with Aphrodite, but its usually Aphrodite who approaches first. When they do chat together, its about what Parvati loves most, romance. Parvati picks up lines and little bits from Aphrodite's flirtatious comments, which sometimes helps her in the future. Aphrodite isn't super close to Parvati, but they'll talk with each other at least once a day.
Juno : Despite Juno clearly being shy, Parvati is always pushing Juno to let his voice be heard and speak out, even if it doesn't work. Parvati is like the 'bigger sister' to Juno, despite them all being born at the same time. Although Juno looks or seems shy, he'll defend his sisters under any circumstances, which earned Parvati's respect for him. Parvati doesn't talk quite often with Juno despite her best efforts to start a conversation, and tends to leave the quiet Turkish Angora in peace instead of pestering him with romance and the like.
Frigga : Parvati is unsure of Frigga, and tends to avoid her whenever she has the chance. Parvati knows its rude, but she's a mysterious character who Parvati can't unravel, nor does she want to. At birth, Parvati remembers always chatting with her, but things have changed and the rope between them has frayed. Parvati still treats Frigga as if she were family, just without the interacting part. When they do talk though, its for a brief moment, and usually for something important enough to put aside any impressions of her.
