While this comp is an impress me, i'll mostly judge on the prompt and character building!

Ansel has high expectations for both the kalons around him and his goals. He's never openly entitled or demanding of them but he doesn't take disappointment well, it's mostly a sad pout with some tears. However, he's pretty resilient and it takes a whole lot to bring him down but he's never down for long. He's quick to recover and move onto the next thing that excites him.
He tries his best not to place such expectations on everything and everyone but he finds it to be harder than he expected, believing he can see the potential in others.

Ansel is incredibly social and basically thrives on conversation, he'll fill every moment of silence with mindless chatter if he can help it. Ansel is over the moon whenever someone engages with him and his chatter!
He has a bit of an overactive imagination, always reading exciting fantasy adventure novels and exploring the great outdoors aka his backyard and sandbox. Sometimes even giving some very enthusiastic adventure recaps to unsuspecting family members.

Ansel can also be rather impulsive when something catches his eye. Not to the point of putting himself in harms way but if a question pops into his head, he just blurts it out expecting an answer every time. Yes, he's that kid that asks "When do I get to learn how to breathe underwater like a fish?"

This song represents his high aspirations and expectations of others, always reaching his highest despite the risk of complete disappointment. He doesn't approach it with a loud sense of entitlement but with a calm statement of, "I'm going to work at this until it's within my grasp." Sometimes it doesn't even benefit him in the slightest, he just believes everyone has the potential to be the best they can be for themselves, or their 'light'. If it leaves him a bit blindsided from being letdown he just hopes the individual will eventually do it for themselves, with or without his encouragement.
It'll make the world a little bit brighter.

This song represents Ansel's desire for adventure and eagerness to embrace his sillier side. He's always excited to explore the world around him, mostly being the 'jungle' of his backyard. Sometimes told his imagination takes a form of it's own, he has an imaginary friend named Snail that takes the form of his plush stegosaurus.
His adventures seem all too real in his mind and he isn't shy singing his own little 'chooka chooka' mantras as he runs about.

Ansel's irrepressible nature is represented in this song. He's hardly even knocked down but if he is, he's quick to rise again after a little bit of moping. He'll take it as a challenge to improve until he achieves what he wants, it might take him a while but he'll tolerate letdowns and failures if it means he has a chance to learn from them.
