My first official adopt for you all! :D Woo!
This boy is an older guy by the looks of his lightening muzzle and eyes, on the grumpy side and it looks like he's had a hard life by the saddle mark on his shoulder and the old spur scars. Tell me about this guys life, was he born and sold off, kept by the facility owner and trained roughly? Was he loved by someone and subsequently sold due to life taking a different turn? Whatever happened, tell me all about it.

Barn Name: Marcel
Life Story:
At a young age Marcel barely had any contact with his mother and zero with his father. The time that he was with his mother was short and only lasted long enough for him to become weaned. Once that was done and he was capable, he was shuttled off to a new home. His new home was warm and possessed an air of serenity that did wonders for young Marcel's confused heart. He made many friends at his new home; bonded with a couple of the other young horses his age and even some of the older horses in the facility. As Marcel grew though, he became much more assertive and being the hardy horse that he is, was not aware of his own strength or power at the time, and play fights often turned into harmful situations. Eventually the friends he had made grew fearful of him and he became ostracized. In the event of things, the owners of the facility didn't think it was safe for him to stay with them and sold him to a man who owned a large cattle farm. So off he was sent to his third home, in the span of three years, where he was trained in the art of cattle herding. He didn't dislike cattle or herding them though it would have been more enjoyable had the man who owned him been a little gentler. The man himself was of the 'rough and tough' type and didn't settle for anything less than perfection, so Marcel's training was relentless and difficult. Even when he did his best and strived to satisfy the man, nothing was ever good enough. The saddle had become a part of his body and he was worked hard day in and day out. Even when he finished his training and was used to herd the cattle more often, there was no gentleness in the man's hands or legs. The deep marks in the flesh on his flanks from the spurs would always serve as a reminder of the spirit within him that had been broken. Eventually though, the man grew tired of Marcel and bought a couple new horses to train and sold Marcel, once again, to his fourth home. With a broken spirit and a bitterness towards humans in general, Marcel was sent to his new home, a home which didn't have a lot going on. It was a simple farmhouse with a large barn and another building that was used for indoor riding, and it was owned by three adults who were all siblings. With his newfound bitterness and overall grumpiness, Marcel found himself flattening his ears in distaste more than anything else. The siblings were wary of him and tried what they could to get him accustomed to his new home, but there was only so much they could do for a horse who's spirit and heart had been broken long before he had arrived to them. Now, they simply live in co-existence of each other. Marcel is cared for well and his services are utilized for sleigh rides and he even often participates in a lot of groundwork that the siblings do with many of the others horses.
