But then there's the harder option -- the one that requires a voice, courage. Perhaps he will regret later not doing the right thing. Sam remains silent.

do you tell alice about the thief; Melody thinks about the situation and the similarities between her and the thief. She couldn't turn in a fellow liar. Therefore, Melody decides to send the thief a wink that seems to say, "Well played," and keep her mouth shut about what she's seen.

As the group of RPWs approach the barn, voices can be heard from behind. They look at each other, mildly confused, before collectively agreeing to eavesdrop on the RPWs talking.

"People have been saying that someone's been stealing my gold. You wouldn't happen to have seen anyone suspicious?" It's Alice; his voice is too distinct to be anyone else. His tone holds a hint of accusation.

"No? I barely go out. I've only seen those weirdos who chase geese for you." Some of the group scoff at how rude the other voice is being, but others pause. They're too familiar. One of the group whispers and majority of the others gasp. It's the thief.

"Are you sure about that?" His tone is more harsh than before, and you can only imagine the look he's giving the thief. Silence falls and the group looks among themselves, waiting for someone to speak. Minutes pass, and suddenly, you hear a yelp. It feels like you've missed part of their conversation.

"You can't blame me. These wolves have done nothing to hurt your feelings, or stab you in the back. They've just caught your stupid geese for you for the past few days. I don't want them being left out because they can't 'impress' you." The thief's words ring true; the group hasn't done anything wrong by Alice.

"Just because I have bad days doesn't mean you can steal from me, Marissa." The group glances at one another, not realising that the thief was a woman. Silence falls once more, though you hear a faint voice.

"You know, when Ethyl was around at least you could hold yourself together." The thief- Marissa storms into the open, followed by an extremely furious Alice. The group starts making conversation, like they weren't eavesdropping or anything.

"Don't you dare speak about your mother like that." Mother. Marissa stops just before the group and turns towards Alice. She doesn't say anything, but folds her arms like she's waiting for him to say something else. "Well, seeing as you're all here, let me assess your geese and give you a little...extra." Marissa raises an eyebrow as Alice locates a large crate from inside the barn. "Seeing as it's Halloween and all back on the surface, I thought I'd give out some of these items I've found over the time I've been here. Don't know what they do. I'm not gonna make it easy for you though. I throw, you catch. If you drop it, bad luck."

You watch Marissa facepalm at her father's attempt at kindness.
