Iseult

Female
personality:
Iseult is a loving and motherly kalon. She owns a small flower shop filled with aromatic flowers, and treats each one as if they were her children. Every night, she goes out and decorates the streets with flowers, eventually gaining the nickname of "Mother Flower" because of it. Iseult is seen as a kind, gentle, and a little odd at times. She loves to make the world just a little bit nicer with small deeds.
favorite flower:
As you step curiously into the shop, a chime of a bell can be heard. A kind-looking kalon with a French accent steps out from behind a shelf full of little succulents, a warm smile upon her face. "Ah, why hello dear. You've come to buy some flowers?" you nod, walking inside further. "Ah! Well, I'm sure they will appreciate a good flower, and you've come to the best place in town to get one," she pauses as you ask her what she recommends to buy.
"Hum, well if you're asking me for what flower I'd like best, then I'd say... This one!" the kalon grabs your hand and leads you to a large oak wood shelf. Within it is a collection of what seems to be vanilla plants. The kalon points her paw at the plant on the top right. "That's a good one right there, the vanilla barbellata!" she exclaims. "The worm vine, in more common terms. Isn't it gorgeous? See that flower?" she gestures to the little flower on the plant, and you nod. "I'd say that flower is the best way to one's heart. Its beauty will certainly captivate the receiver of such a marvel! And look at its petals, so smooth and soft..." you zone off as she continues on, point out features and naming facts about of the plant passionately.
"And of course, the smell of it! Such a good choice for a gift. So, you'd like this flower, correct?" she asks, and you snap back to reality, nodding instinctively. "Excellent! My precious little child of nature will go into good hands, I'm sure." the kalon brings the plant to the check out counter, and you pay for the little thing. Although the plant looks rather uninteresting to you, the shopkeeper seemed passionate about it. Perhaps the receiver of the gift will like the flower for its simplicity, you think.
You thank the shopkeeper, and head outside with the little flower, trying to ignore the shopkeeper chirping goodbyes to the plant as if it was a cute puppy. It was little eccentric, you decide, but you figure that working at a place with no one else and only flowers can do things to someone. Wasn't planning on entering for more kals but this one is so pretty aaa

personality: andromeda was always a bit on the shy side, only really opening up to people once they showed her loyalty. she always thought it was much better to have no friends than fake ones.
favorite flower: andromeda's favorite flower without a doubt was the bougainvillea. it's non-symmetrical design was a constant reminder that you don't have to be perfect to be beautiful. in fact, some of her favorite childhood memories took place in the garden outside of her home. the garden was filled with beautiful flowers, but the most beautiful of all, the bougainvillea. it's beautiful blooms always caught her attention. "oh silly andromeda, wouldn't you prefer a rose?" her mother always teased. but in her perfect fairytale, she would much rather have the prince give her a bright bougainvillea blossom instead.

name: Lorelei
gender: Female
personality: Lorelei isn't someone who's easy to understand. She always looks more at death and loss than life and gains. She seems and certainly acts like a peach but the more you observe and speak to her the more twisted her words seem. She drives most away which is fine for her and the line of work she picks to follow.
favorite flower: The Anemone. It has a variety of meanings, but to Lorelei it means nothing but sadness. Little ironic for a favorite flower, eh? For her it's always been associated with losing others, fading hope, and ill omens. Now this "favorite" flower doesn't seem like a real favorite type. It's her favorite for two simple reasons.
She feels as if she can relate to it. It looks pretty, seems like it's meanings are all good but it will break your heart as soon as you let your guard up. It reminds you to stay alert and on your toes, even in the nicest times. It reminds you kalons are unpredictable creatures that will do what it takes for their survival.
They keep her grounded. Most people believe in hope and pick favorites by their good, friendly meanings. She though, believes that if you can accept that things such as deaths and losses are natural and at times good, you can get through it all. Their can be no death without life so we cannot treat it as our plague. You cannot only see good in everything.

gender: Female
personality: Lelei is a gentle, patient kalon. She does her best to be kind to everyone she meets and loves the water. She's a sucker for sunsets and sunrises and finds herself most at peace during these times. She's very outgoing and a bit close-minded, but she loves learning new things, so long as there's support for them.
favorite flower: Lelei's favorite flower would most definitely be water lillies. When she was a young kit, she absolutely loved playing down by the ponds. she'd always watch the frogs sit on their leaves and relax, and she always wished she could too. Lelei eventually convinced her mother to put in a small pond by their home, and even got a few water lillies put in so she could watch them grow.

name: eleanora (ellie or nora for short)
gender: female
favorite flower: jasmine. nora's big on alternative methods, such as herbal medicines, reiki, crystal healing etc and when it comes to aromatherapy in specific, she finds the smell of jasmine keeps her the most soothed. this is to be expected, as the scent of this flower does help to promote a sense of well-being and calm, but she's always been naturally drawn to jasmine as opposed to other relaxing flowers like lavender, chamomile and roses.
because of how much she enjoys jasmine, nora often likes to brew herself some tea using it and always suggests to others that they give it a try. she also likes to keep these dainty flowers dotted around her living quarters, in as many colours and variations of the plant as she can find. not to mention jasmine are most often associated with love, which is something nora cherishes in life. and boy does she have a lot to give. i hold fast to their stems with reverence
and care, their scent so very delicate, their petals ever
fair. be they white linen blossoms of kiss-colored blooms
it matters not – and make no mistake for he has come in
to many – all come equipped with a sweet floral scent,
strong enough to be evident in his home yet light enough
to not be overstimulating. i will speak honestly, i have
no love nor want of display flowers, every cent i own is
too precious to waste on frivolous things. but these… are
my only vice. i’ve no tongue for liqueurs, no appetite for
rich entrees; one humble bouquet a week will suffice, will
sate my addiction. because in obtaining these am i able to
see him. twelve streets away in a nook between shops,
lies a tiny, timid little florist. in france there are a baker’s
dozen of the same such stores, far bigger and brighter than
his floral hovel but none of the alternatives have his
presence.

bloom in particular, how he lavishes them with such attention and
clear joy that spending a few notes on them makes me feel closer,
their scent in my room reminding me of his gentle, fleeting spirit.
for it is fleeting. on his finger is a silver band, innocuous and yet
so damning, as I know, somewhere, it has a match. the honeysu

of it. i will give him the next bouquet, it will be my last... and i
dread it's coming.xxxx

She always thought they were pretty. Foxgloves. xxxxxxxxx
I mean, who wouldn't? With their tall stems loaded
with their soft, bell-shaped flowers that seem to
just flow with the breeze like liquid-- they're
gorgeous. Delicate and gentle flora that makes
you just wan't to touch--
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"DON'T TOUCH!!"
Right. She sighed, quickly but gingerly moving
her paw away from the stem, taking special care not
to accidentally prod the flower, while casting a
sheepish look back at her mother. Look, but don't
touch, she'd always said. Look but don't touch.
She went back to looking at the flower wistfully. Oh
how she longed just to be able to sneak in just one
single touch. Like Icarus and the sun, she wanted to
get just a little bit closer. But she knew well
and good that she could not. As pretty as they were,
they were virulent. Rife with poison. While
their little rosettes were pretty, they screamed
danger.
But of course, on occasion, they fall to
deaf ears. By those who were too ignorant to
listen-- or perhaps-- just as entranced as she was
with the plant. And they payed the consequences.
She saw it happen occasionally. Local stray cats
who would try to take a taste of it would
immediately regret it; from a bite they feel sick
and run off-- and as for smaller animals...
She couldn't help but to feel a little unnerved on
the occasion that she finds a corpse beside the
plant-- perhaps one of a mouse or vole-- its
limp form resting gently beside the flora. It's
almost out of place there-- you wouldn't expect
such a delicate flower to be such a source of
destruction. Though she can't deny that a part
of her feels something else. Something like...
awe? How a delicate looking flower like that
could hold so much impact. It was scary. But
also inspiring. And that was also part of her
allure towards the flower. And as dangerous
as that might sound, she couldn't help but
to want to follow its example.
Delicate, but dangerous.

They always thought she was pretty. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
And why wouldn't they? That's how she
appeared on the surface. Small frame.
Soft face. Wavy, yet ever so silky locks.
Doe eyes, winding tail-- the list can go on.
A kalon who's visage could have inspired a
Monet piece. She coined the word elegant.
Divine. Gentle. And well--
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxDelicate.
"Like a flower."
That might have been what sparked her mentality.
Having such weak words to describe her. On one
hand, she couldn't blame them. She knew what she
looked like. And in theory, there was nothing wrong
with that.
...But that is solely in theory. The truth of the
matter happened to be that with such delicate
features, she was treated to match-- because
for some off reason, somewhere along the way--
softness has been equated to weakness.
...It's just so funny how comparing her to a
flower had been a point at her softness.
They clearly didn't grow up around the flowers
that she knew.
They saw petals where she saw poison-- what
appeared to be frail flora, she saw as a weapon.
Through the years, in enduring constant coddling
and belittling, she'd grown to know that her and
her dear foxglove weren't so different.
And so she molded herself to match;
adorning her hair with the finest, most elegant
of flowers-- a pretty guise all to mask the most
virulent of words upon her poison-tipped fangs and
sharp tongue, followed by even more dire actions.
People were forced to handle her with care, as to
not hurt themselves. They'd even go as far
as to say,
"Look, but don't touch."
Just as she liked it.
Still, there are some who do not learn. Those who do
not heed any warning-- or perhaps-- are consumed
with such a familiar intrigue and curiosity that she
knew too well--
It is those who may find themselves meeting an
unfortunate end.

personality: "An introduction? Um, I feel like I'm a bit childish at times. I enjoy simple things like making jewelry and picking flowers. Sipping coffee on a cold night is good too! Oh, and so is singing old tunes! Ah, I'm sorry. I got a little carried away... Well, I'm also a bit ditzy and clumsy. I do try my best though! I take pride in being a lady. I want to be the most elegant creature you've ever laid eyes on! I'll show you, one day!"
favorite flower: "My favorite flower? Why, I guess- I mean think that it would have to be the small and delicate daisy! Don't you think it's just like me? I think the daisy also gives me my favorite past time. It's rather cruel to the daisy but I take pleasure in the simple game like "Loves me, loves me not". What? Why not the forget-me-not? Because it has far too few petals silly! I'll be able to know what the results are right off the bat are! I don't take pride in easy success - I will win this guessing game, I will! Fair and square. Some daisies around my home grow really tall, so daisy chains and crowns are a cute accessory! Oh, and wreaths too! They just go so well with everything, I adore it so."
Fi holds the flower crown she had been weaving up to her head.
"See? Doesn't it make me look cute and dainty too?"
She giggles naively, so pure and sweet, like the daisy flower in all its tiny glory.
