We rescue and rehabilitate dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes so they may have the chance to be placed into a caring home. Personality

Dom has resilience in spades. Backing down never quite sat well with him;
a harsh life growing up a cast-off stray gave him the mentality that he needs
to fight for everything he wants to keep with tooth and claw. He guards his
family with a keen eye because of this and ends up becoming a bit too
overprotective at times, even when he has the best of interests at heart.
He’s stubborn to a fault, but his willful nature frequently leads to times
when he just doesn’t quite know when to concede in the face of another
immovable object. Even those closest to him have difficulty softening his
edges even while he gives his affection freely to those he loves. He’s known
for being the type of dog that’s more severe than what’s strictly needed, in
both tone of speech and mannerisms. He dually demands obedience from
those he considers his subordinates, and too readily follows the orders of
those he considers higher ranked than he. His need for such a structured
system makes him efficient in maintaining professionalism in the way he
operates on a daily basis, but Dom also tends to sacrifice a great deal of
internal playfulness as a result. Thankfully, there are those who allow him
to open up despite his tendency to be so uptight.

Personality: Timid and very wary of everyone around him. Newt is the type of dog to just enjoy laying near a fire after a long day of exploring the woods. He doesn't do well with crowds and so he tends to avoid places like the streets or dog parks. While he is very timid, he is also a very loving dog and will gladly climb up into your lap to cuddle. While the breed is typically known to be guard dogs and hunting dogs, he would much rather prefer to lay on the couch with his family. All the songs picked are very mellow songs that also have a calm rhythm to them much as Newt has about himself.
