journeys and endless destinations, the freedom that comes with not having to be anywhere in the
morning, the sound of laughter breaking through the music, the vaguely nostalgic sense of wanting to
do more, to drive forever, to get lost in those twisted back roads, the car warm and the night chilly,
the moon lighting the part of the asphalt that the headlights can't quite penetrate, fog rolling through
cow pastures on either side, clouds forming obscure shapes against that deep blue color of the sky,
mistaking airplane lights for stars and jokingly calling out 'ufo!' when they flash, the wide-awake but
half-lidded sense of it being past one in the morning, the feeling that the rest of the world is asleep,
the surreal knowledge that i could go anywhere, anything could happen, nothing is stopping me,
the knowledge that you are free to drive for forever.

but how could he? they'd hardly want to speak with him now. they were doing better, and markus was still left clawing through past memories and feelings, like some kind of desperate animal. he was desperate. he was so desperate. but mission: confession had jumped to mission: impossible just like that.

even if there wasn't anything keeping them apart, they wouldn't understand. it would be like every other failed love interest. no one ever understood. it's not that markus cared what the other kalons thought, in fact, he didn't mind at all. but their opinion meant everything.
to him, it might as well be life or death.

Why:: Dust likes to test the limits. Most say the sky is the limit. He says it's only the beginning. Dust likes to prove people wrong and believes anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Titan, after one of the many moons of Saturn. Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the only moon known to have a dense atmosphere, and the only object in space other than Earth where clear evidence of stable bodies of surface liquid has been found. I picked this name because the design reminds me very much of space, static, and rainy days and because one of the songs I considered picking is called "Saturnz barzs". Saturn is also my favorite planet, I like it for its beautiful and thought provoking "bars" and the swirling colors of storms on the planets surface. Not to mention it has a couple moons, Titan being one of them, that contain water. Well, frozen water.

(If I can only jave one then I pick "Stars Align". I keep wanting to add more songs... there are so many songs that make me think of this kal but maybe I just can't get it off my brain haha. One of the songs I considered adding was "To the Sky--Owlcity")

Why::

I picked these songs because to me they seem to fit with the vibe of the kalon. Both the Kal and the songs remind me of static, stars, bones, and rainy days.

I can't describe any of these as beautifully as I see them in my head, but hopefully these descriptions still paint a decent picture.

For the first song, Stars Align, I picture the Kalon going on an adventure during dusk/night. With stars peaking through the trees they set out through a forest and find some artifact (a silver necklace with a star shaped pendant) of unknown power. Curious, they put it on and begin experimenting with it and find that with it they control the stars. They start floating up into the sky. Soon after they are out of the atmosphere and the stars gather around then like fireflies. With their power they begin rearranging some of the stars into shapes resembling all sorts of animals and mythical creatures. The "star creatures" begin to move and float around, some even acknowledge their creator and begin to dance around them. Everything fades to black and the Kalon wakes up under a tree in the forest and what just happened appears to be a dream. Quickly they run through the forest to where they found the star amulet. They find it again only this time it doesn't contain any magical powers. Perhaps it did and is now drained or that was really just a dream, either way, the Kalon now has a new necklace.

For the second song, I picture the kal going for a walk through a low snow cloud (fog) and it starts to snow very lightly. They are a bit lonely because they are used to being thought of as somewhat strange. They don't really mind this and just enjoy being out on nature. While out on this walk however, they stumble across some feathers and old bones. They start gathering feathers to take home but then the bones begin to rumble and begin to form skeletons of the animals of what they once were. One skeleton is bigger than the rest and appears to me a sort of leader as he starts talking to the kalon while the others surround both of them. The lead skeleton speaks to the kalon of hardships and how the skeletons have been alone for quite some time. After a bit of an anger spurt and attempting to scare the kalon off. (This for me is the end of the song)

For the third, they walk up to a haunted mansion on an old gated hill. They slip through the gate that has been overtaken with vines and is bent open slightly. As they enter the house everything seems quiet, but then candelabras and chandeliers begin to faintly glow and get brighter till they are the light level of a candle. Gradually a bunch of ghosts start creeping out of different places and start swirling about the room gracefully in a whirl of chaos. The ghosts leave as quickly as they had come. The Kalon, a bit startled, starts going deeper into the old mansion and the ghost of a dragon begins to follow it. (I picture the dragon singing the lyrics being sung for the whole song--I kind of picture this from the ghost dragons perspective?) While the Kalon is gazing at all the antique relics the ghost dragon gradually appears, coming out of the floor. The other ghosts come with it.
Singing that they "built this house on memories" and putting on a show of sorts while toying with the poor Kalon. (They arent trying to hurt them, the ghosts are just messing around a little) At the very end, the kalon leaves the house quickly and doesn't look back but knows that what they just witnessed will live on in their memories for a very long time.

My little imaginings aside, I like the song "stars align" the most out of these three because like a piece of art (the kalon for example) a song without words creates deep feeling that is left up to interpretation by the listener/viewer. Both the song and kalon reflect similar if not the same subjects. They suit each other very well
In my mind.

(My dad works for NASA and is a space nerd in general and his space nerdiness has rubbed off on me a bit--My CS background is always "CSSpace" when there's not an event--Anyways, I really like that you put Cassiopeia on the rib markings<3)
