how did they get hurt?; Thomas doesn't really know exactly how he gets hurt as his mind wanders far too often for him to keep track of things for a long time. However, since he lives by a forest he usually sees something that interests him; a bird or plant or something of the sort, and as he goes to find out he gets scratched by twigs and trips over rocks. When he arrives back home he realizes he has injuries and shrugs them off and places a band aid on it.
extra story; "pft - thomas, again? your bleeding." thomas bent his neck to look at himself, noticing the scattered cuts and scratches for the first time. He shrugged and look up again, " i don't even know how it happens, i guess i just get distracted." he sits carefully as leo retrieved the band aids, unwrapping multiple as he had done so many times before; and placing them gently on the scratches. thomas barely flinches as he notices a grey and red bird with a small beak land on a branch outside of the window. it turns its head quickly, flashing red cheeks and marks that look like war paint, searching the sky. he watches until it lifts off it's perch and flies away hidden in the dense leaves of the forest.
