welcome, my subjects. c'est moi, astré confier. my job today is to inform you all about myself with the a parody of a beginning to a simple 'novella'.

by some stroke of luck, i did not get a name as long as my hair from my parents, sir peacock of the north and madam confier of the west. but i did inherit an appearance so divine and stunning that any mortal who so much as caught sight of one of my furs would faint and ask for my approval (as my artist commonly does). as for its appearance, it contains a strain of the purest of blues (rather like my choice of music), radiating lime, and the lightest tint of confectionery pink-white. you could call me stuck up - but i would rather the masses to simply refer to me as 'beautiful'.

i would love to say that i was a legitimate member of the aristocracy or a god of any kind, but it is unfortunately the 21st century with my skills only amounting to being a part of the kalon economy and population by day. i wear a dress suit on many occasions, being the formal 'neat freak' i am. however, on a hot summer's day, i prefer a dress, with no context given to anyone who looks upon me. it's quite an interesting hobby of mine.

aside from that, i suppose i dabble in a few trades. chemistry, sculpturing, archery, literature, arson, and mentoring. take what you will from this short story of mine.

Konichiwa. I'm Kujaku, but I'd appreciate if you'd call me
Ku. Its pronounced Kou, by the way... Um anyways! I have
been told many times I look like a peacock, if a peacock
were a kalon. And my response was always, 'I know.'
Because I did know! Thats how I got my name. My
parents thought I looked like a peacock and because
of my japanese ethnicity they named me Kujaku.
I don't enjoy the name, so thats why I prefer Ku.
So now onto how I even look like a peacock.
Mainly my colors, my fur is a mixture of teal, blue,
dark blue, and a light beige. I also have blue eyes.
Then my hair. It's quite long, for Kami's sake it's
down to my paws! Anyway's my hair is silver, and
thats not very peacock-like! Anyway's I dont enjoy
nicknames such as peacock or anything related to that.

As you can see I have loooong white hair that reaches my feet and dramatically drags behind me (Because I'm basically a goddess) and icy blue eyes like limpid tears. A lot of people tell me I look like a peacock. Did you know peacocks are practically royal? Practicly perfect peacocks. The only thing more perfect than a peacock is me. My mom says I'm not related to a peacock but I probably am because they're fancy. I'm a model. My teeth are straight and white (Like my name and my hair. Obv.) I have blue skin just like the aqua ocean. I'm also a mermaid, and I go into water all the time and try to find other mermaids. I'm a QUEEN (in case you can't tell) and I wear mostly SUPREME. I love supreme and buy all my clothes from there. You're probably too broke to buy anything there. I stood in line for 17 hours for this hoodie so you know I'm serious.

You look at your mom like she's a little bit loony, but you press the play on the video all the same.

"Hey, kiddo!! I don't know what your mother has told you about me--- only good things I hope--- but my name is Johnathan Foxeus Cordelias Bir'deaux. Err, sorry, let me just..." the man wrestled with his long, platinum hair while you stared back in confusion. He eventually got the mess of hair under control and continued, "Ack, so sorry! Where was I... Oh, yes! Like I said, Johnathan Foxeus Cor- well, you can rewind if you want the full name again. It's quite the mouthful, so I usually just go by Fox... AH! Is your mother there? I hope your mother's there--- Belle, look!! Right now I look EXACTLY like evil guy in the Harry Potter movies, the blonde one whose kid is the blonde one, remember that guy?? Right? Don't I- Oops, sorry, kiddo!"

Your face is contorted somewhere between incredulous anger and confusion as you pause the video. Before you can ask your mother why you're watching this ridiculous thing, she shakes her head and presses play again.

"Anyways, I'm an astronaut, one of the Great Eight to be exact. Have they taught you about them, yet--- the Great Eight, not astronauts, of course you know what astronauts are? Well, right now I'm standing outside of Shepard's School of Space Exploration and I'm about to go in for my final suit fitting. Tomorrow I'll be going to Jupiter for my mission, something I'm sure you'll be learning about soon if you haven't already. Right now, I'm exactly thirty-five years, one day, twelve hours, two minutes and," he looked down at his watch before you heard him speak again, "twenty-four seconds old. By the time you get this message, you'll be sixteen already and I will have missed all of those years. And, bud, I'm sorry about that, but you'll be seeing me real soon. I hope when I finally make it home, we'll get to make up for that lost time. I'm sure I've spent all sixteen years between my recording this and your getting this just thinking about you. Do you have your mothers eyes, my hair? What clothes do you like? Do you like the rain or the sunshine best? Heck!! Right now I don't even know if you're a girl or a boy--- or neither!! you can be neither, that's alright, too--- but I've never loved anyone as much as I love you.

Oh!! I'm your father, did I forget to mention that?? Woops, slipped my mind! Anyways, I've got to go, see you in a year."

By the end of the video you feel something strange, a sort of warmth that you didn't know you were missing. Your father was alive? You'd always assumed the worst and now you felt a pang nostalgia for someone you didn't even know.

ahh honestly idk if that made any sense?? supposed to be a future AU where people have gone to Jupiter on an expedition and this kal is one of those astronauts (still on Jupiter), talking to his 16 y/o kid via a video he recorded before he left for the expedition. also "shepard's school of space exploration" is supposed to be like astronaut school basically, named after alan shepard ofc. i kinda veered off from the original paragraph rip,, I hope it's alright and not too bad tho,,

Blue Android|Female|Tea

Here's the tea!~ No. Literally, my name is Tea. It's probably because I'm a magnet to drama--but that's none of my business, ahem. I have loooooong white hair dark purple ankle fur that drags on the ground and flows in the wind, very majestic I might add. I also have luxurious velvety blue fur that is just as soft as it looks! I'm often referred to as the Adam Sandler of Kalons, but honestly I don't see it. Although the name might imply I am not related to Tealea, but god I wish I was because they're a total hottie! I'm a kalon but I have uncommon ears. I have standard shine, teeth and claws. I'm a world-renowned professional aesthetic photographer/blogger--not to brag but I have 4,000 followers on tumblr, so at least I would consider that world-renowned. I prefer to buy my clothes from Urban Outfitters, I like a real #basic gal. Like, today I wore a white crop top with a palm tree on it, khaki shorts and cuuuuute sandals. If you haven't noticed I turn heads when I walk outside!~ That's a lil bit about me, but that's really none of your business!
